If she was indeed accelerating towards another person, whether they be police or civilian, yes, absolutely. That's defined as attempted murder in every single state, and legally justifies using lethal force. Whether that's what happened here, I don't know for sure, but it looks that way to me.

I'll remember that next time I'm in a crosswalk and a car is approaching the intersection. That's attempted murder, right?
I'd have no way of knowing if they intend to stop or not. Best to shoot them rather than stepping out of the way.

A quick search says a police officer may not use a gun to stop a fleeing suspect unless they have probable cause that the suspect poses a significant threat to the officer. Standing in front of a car to generate “probable cause” is pure stupidity and would likely be a breach of ethics. It’s not different than pointing a suspects gun at your head and then saying they were going to shoot you.

Not to mention I’ve never seen a trained police officer stand in front of a car. Yet again a quick search says this is in fact part of their training. So they put some shmuck with no training out there with a gun and oh no look he breaks protocol and kills someone because of his negligence.

Seriously? That tire is pointed directly at him when she stomped on the gas pedal.
There's zero threat to her driving away the way she did. This is a 37 year old single mom american citizen from Colorado who was told to move then had a gun pointed at her and a guy try to enter her vehicle. You need to take off the orange glasses Wook...this is not protecting and serving. This is abuse of power against an unarmed civilian for being parked on an icy street. This is unjustifiable by any code of ethics. Real law enforcement officers would never react with lethal force like this unless fired upon. It's called a trigger happy mercenary. A cop would shoot the tires out as the first option

Also this is the very first shot, the smoke in front of the windshield is the evidence. Right foot aligned with tire, left clearly visible, agent clearly to the side of the car. Not sure what more to say, he freaked out because he was standing in a dangerous place and killed her, even after the car wasn’t posing a threat any longer. This is why people with guns need training so they don’t freak out and fuck up.

Fact of the matter is this administration is fine with fucking up because no one will hold them accountable for their poor hiring and training. This won’t be the last time one of these dudes fuck up.

You would really "fear" for your life if that exact situation? That car was not a threat to himself or others. He could have easily moved out of the way; we know this because that is exactly what he did.

The "stomping" appears to have happened after she was shot in the head. I'm pretty sure you can not assign intent to that.

Yesterday...

A rapid hiring blitz that added about 12,000 officers to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in less than a year is now drawing scrutiny on Capitol Hill as lawmakers question whether the agency lowered training standards to meet aggressive recruitment targets.

ICE, under the authority of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), announced Jan. 3 that it expanded its workforce by roughly 120% after a nationwide recruitment campaign added more than 12,000 officers and agents—growing the agency from about 10,000 personnel to more than 22,000. ICE officials said much of that growth occurred in just about four months following an unprecedented hiring push that drew more than 220,000 applications nationwide.

DHS said the expansion is intended to help meet aggressive immigration enforcement goals, including carrying out 1 million deportations annually as thousands of newly hired officers deploy across the country to support arrests, investigations and removals.

I mean he shot her from the side not from in front of the windshield.

If he moved to the side and out of the way, he is no longer in danger. The use of deadly force is obviously not justified and when this ice officer gets doxxed his life will be hell. Prosecuted or not.

It was meant for the person you quoted. Sounds like downloaded talking points to me.
Totally misread it on my end, lmao. Was about to go in on nothing.

Also want to clarify something, the woman I posted earlier, I believe that was Renee's actual profile, but the attached image came from a poetry post on Facebook. It was not her. This is Renee Good below.

That's bollocks. The front wheel spins twice before he's even done drawing his weapon. The first shot is fired well after the car starts moving, and it's heading towards him.
