Based on the new ObamaCare "Health Care Reform Act"; here is the list of new changes for 2013. All I got to say is FUCK OBAMA and this piece of shit program. I just received this from my accountant.

Two changes for 2013 that come from the Affordable Care Act affects "high income" taxpayers. The new tax rule requires an additional 0.9 % medicare tax to be paid when there is an earned income greater than $200,000 (me).

The next change, and perhaps one of the most confusing for high income taxpayers, is the new 3.8% medicare surtax on Net Investment Income. Taxpayers with an income greater than $250,000 (me). My additional tax is $2,047.

Further bad news is my tax bracket is now 39.6%, which results in an additional $114,433.

So possibly a quadruple whammy tax increase. You will be paying a total of $116,480 to federal.

This makes me so fucking angry right now! This doesn't even include the 11 fucking percent I'm paying to the state of California

People think I'm being an a-hole for my position on this issue, but someone has to say it. When did we decide as a country that we were entitled to other people's money, when we can make due on our own? I have no problem helping those truly in need. I don't trumpet it, but there are ways I help the less fortunate at financial levels that would shock those that envision me as Monty Burns. Exactly! I do my fair share of helping my community. All this has done is make it harder to donate to my local community. So the local community suffers, while my contribution is for a community I know little to nothing about.

I already give to my local assembly and community. I don't need the government to tell me who to give it to; especially when some are drug addicts or baby factories.

Ha! I hate to laugh, it is too painful, but I do feel your pain too. This shit is right out of Karl Marx's play book, multiple confiscations by taxation.

I have very little income year by year but have some pretty big paydays ever few years. This fucking law has and will cost me dearly.
It already has cost me the healthcare coverage I had eared for past work, much more pay and pain to follow. It really pisses me off to see these
fellows with no perspective (who also voted for this bastard) with their hand out, without the vision to see how it could effect them or their children someday.
I think I will get on my boat as soon as I can get the damn thing finished, run down to Chile and Uruguay see if there isn't a better way. This nations has

I can't move out of the country bro. My money is being made here in California. We are thinking of moving the company to Vegas, to avoid Corporate/Personal State taxes. That saves our company 20% and myself, 11%. But if I am making money in California, I must pay California tax.

I hit the point where I was paying 67% of each dollar earned to the Feds, 11% to California plus 7.5% sales tax, self employment tax, and $5500 a year Property tax. Then to make it all even worse, we had no way to shield and income with 401k contributions and the like.
Buckle up my friend, you (we) are on the fast track to return to such a wonderful system one more time.

You basically own the company right? Maybe you should change your wage (and that was half in jest as I am sure they still take your businesses earnings whether you pocket them or not).

You can't change your wage brother. The income is still income in the company. We are a S corp. All net profits are distributed to the share holders. If the company has a net of 1 million; the shareholders are taxed earned income for that entire 1 million. We aren't even taking the full net amount. Most is being reinvested.
