If Armstrong, Jones and Houston make the roster, the Nets will have six players who have been to the NBA Finals (9 times) without a ring: Kidd, Jefferson and Collins with the 2002 and 2003 Nets; Armstrong with the 2006 Mavs, Jones with the 2001 Sixers and Houston with the 1999 Knicks.</p>

If Houston makes the roster, the Nets will have four Olympic medalists: Kidd, Carter and Houston with a gold and Jefferson with a bronze. The same four also have seven Tournament of the Americas gold medals: Kidd in 1999, 2003 and 2007; Carter in 1999 and 2003, Houston in 1999, Jefferson in 2003. Only Jefferson has ever lost a game in senior international competition. Combined, Kidd, Carter and Houston have won more than 60 games without a loss. Marcus Williams is also undefeated in U21 international competition.</p>

If Ilic doesn't get bought out, the Nets will have three players from the former Yugoslavia: Krstic and Ilic from Serbia, Nachbar from Slovenia, more than any NBA team ever.</p>

If Houston and Armstrong make the team, the Nets will have two of the ten oldest NBA players, Houston will be 37 mid season, Armstrong will be 40 at the end.</p>
