not buying this excuse sorry. Terry doesn't get the benefit of the doubt here from me. He struggles coaching defense and is so-so at managing egos.
 
This team is so fucking backwards it astounds me. I can turn on a Cleveland game and see more movement on offense. Jones and Covington literally stand in the corner and whichever one of Dame/CJ isn't handling the ball is just standing at the elbow. Literally no one does anything until the PnR breaks down, and by that time the shot clock is already at 10. What can you do but isolate?

Yeah i don't like melo on the court at all right now. he isn't playing well. Gary Trent and Henry Giles would be better with Kanter.
 
Shit and the next one will be the Lakers with the Rockets game likely postponed
 
Bunch of standing around watching Dame dribble or pass out of a double/triple team with no one coming to the ball to help. All shots are rushed and coming up short. Is Mario our missing link??? I kid...
 
Couple notes I thought of from the first half:

-Carmelo was an awful resigning.

-We need a legit backup PG in the 2nd unit

-We need to scrap this new defense shit

-We need to run more offense thru Nurk

Dame just seems off on every shot. Is he not completely recovered from his injury or something?
 
It seems impossible that this team suddenly since the Bubble gives up so many 3s. Utah has made 13-28 in the first half. There has to be a correction at some point back to the NBA norm.
 
I'm hoping that the team can work some things out in the next few games.

Well, it gives them more time to practice! So instead of a decent 5 minutes, they'll be able to practice their way to 6 and a half minutes of decent play!

By the end of the season they'll have 36 maybe 37 minutes of decent play per game (and that many wins too!).

Also, move w/o the basketball and share it.

I'd love to see the possession scoring percentage when we pass the ball 2 or more times vs. 1 or fewer. We had assists on our first five shots. Then we started the 1-on-1 hero-ball garbage. Then Melo came in.
 
The excuse making from Kurd....lol. Like Dame hasn't been double-teamed before.
 
Nurk gets blasted in the face to add injury to insult.
