4th quarter was encouraging. But Dame at 40 minutes and all starters at 30+. There’s an argument to be made to giving more minutes to the bench. I thought the entire bench played better than the starters for the most part.
 
work in progress. 4th was nice.

shot selection by dame when he was ice cold was iffy. im not talking that last shot cuz i thought that MF was in and we were headed to OT.

but the garbage he threw up when we were down 6 twice was questionable, especially when our O was producing open looks... meh

and roco falling asleep on barnes the entire second half-- come on dude
 
Lot of positives to take from this....Dame couldn't throw the rock in a lake tonight....let it bake...get the next one....Thanks Darkweb!!!!!!!!!!!!111
 
Well i feel a bit better.
Work in progress. They showed they can turn it up a bit. Had a chance to tie it with a Dame three that didn't fall at 117-117 then again at the end.
Roco missed his three to get it to one. Powell missed one free throw.
That game was there if thing went their way.
Problem was the first 3 quarters were really bad.
I liked the Nance/Zeller energy to start the fourth.

Like i said. Work in progress but they have a chance to put this together.
 
I know it’s just one game, but Lillard was beyond “bad” tonight.

I don’t blame him for missing threes, that happens, but his body language was terrible all game and his decision making in the 4th was not just bad, but utterly selfish. Taking contested 40 footers when CJ is on fire is just ridiculous.

and people are blaming ROCO for not closing out. But on many plays the defense broke down when Lillard didn’t even attempt to get past a screen, or didn’t even attempt to close out...

If he keeps playing like that I would honestly trade him straight up for Ben Simmons. But I bet he will bounce back.

i hope chauncey sticks to his word about holding him accountable as well
 
Main thing I liked about the comeback is it didn’t feel like it was just dame/Caj going off. They played as a team. They moved the ball. They defended. Multiple guys contributed. They play like that they’ll be fine. Dame ain’t going 0-9 from three again.

One game. Lot of the same issues as the preseason.

The talk that our last staff was the reasons guys have career games against us isn't holding up very well. Roster issues continue to put us behind the 8-ball.

We still can have a good year and if Dame is happy, I'm happy!
 
OK guys, we are beating the Suns next game lol.
