To me this is almost a must win now. If we cannot beat them with their 3rd string goalie, how do we win 4 of 6 after tonight?

Pretty much need to win this game now.
 
LOL...Tanner Glass is in for Lindberg. One of the reasons they may lose is this coaching staff. Skjei over McI. Interesting decisions by AV.
 
I'll tell you this much, if the Rangers don't fire everything at the net I will be very angry.

I better not see pass and pass and pass and fancy play against a 3rd string goalie.

EVERYTHING must go on goal and we must attack the net...period.
 
You never want to make too much out of one game, especially a game 1, but if we cannot beat their 3rd string goalie, and they win their 15th in 16 games (toss out their last meaningless game), I just don't know how you feel confident moving forward.

I am not upset MAF is out, but I do think this actually puts a little more pressure on us now...it would be real difficult to lose tonight and think we're in a good spot to win the series with MAF back Saturday.

Don't get rolled at the start, first 7-10 minutes, and we'll be okay I hope.

Gotta just break even for the first 10 minutes. Pitt is gonna come out flying so it will be imperative to not have a slow start and get down early. Glass in for Lindberg is a head scratcher, but the 4th line has been doing its job well lately. Energy and checking and forechecking. Skjei in for Dylan also makes sense as Skjei is a better skater. I'd actually prefer Dylan in for Boyle, but Boyle would have to die before AV would scratch him, and even then I'm not too sure lol. Regardless, it's the post season. Hopefully we can get on a roll and get hot!!! LETS GO BOYS!!!
 
Did not take NHL that long to make their impact on the game. Penalty called to help their darlings.
 
They are making it easy for Zatkoff. Yes shoot on him, but for the love of God, get someone in front and screen him and deflect a puck. Sheesh. All these shots, only a few good saves and not enough traffic in front. Gotta get bodies in front of goal. Can't save what he can't see.
 
Of course after a few saves, Zatkoff is acting like he is Patrick Roy...LOL
 
Why is it that so far I've seen 5 rangers get thrown out of the face off circle, 4 times in the defensive zone when the Pens are supposed to put their stick down first and refuse to do so, yet the Pens are yet to be thrown out of the circle?

And now they're just making up penalties. Lmfao. Just hand them the game refs. It's ok. Everyone can see the bullshit penalty there.
 
Rangers are doing a good job controlling the play. Refs are doing a good job at keeping Pitt in the game and getting offensive zone time with these bogus PPs.
 
That's a penalty. You're not allowed to do that snow shower shit anymore. Get over it Pitt. That's the owed call I'm assuming.
 
Boyle is yet to do one good thing. Like I said, I'd rather Dylan in then him, but AV has a man crush on him so he's have to be dead in order to get scratched in the playoffs.
 
Boyle has not done anything but he has not fucked up yet either. AV wont have two rookies on D in the same game, let along playoffs. Unless there are injuries.

I'm not sure how Staal allows that pass get to the front of the net. He's right there to knock it into the corner.
 
Fuck Eric Staal. I'd rather lose Eric Staal if it also means losing Marc. Marc is fucking useless. Good job you fucking dumbass. Can't keep your stick down and almost blind Hank and then just allow a guy to skate right down center and instead of covering him, you're puck watching and not watching out for the late guy. Asshole. He can't be gone from this team soon enough. I'd be all for losing Eric if it means that Mark isn't here next season either. It's 10000000% worth it to get rid of him. I just don't understand what the fuck Staal was doing on that goal. There's 3 Rangers ALL FUCKING PUCK WATCHING and none of them are looking at the two Pens wide open in front. Jesus Christ. Only this fucking team. Also, shocker, another goal in the last minute of the game.

Because he's a fucking moron and is puck watching and not playing the man flying down center of the ice. Also, Hank shouldn't have been in there. Raanta should've finished the last minute and let Hank give his eye a rest and make sure he's 100% ok.

What I was saying is the guy coming in front doesn't really matter if Staal does his job. He's facing the guy behind the net and can't block a pass from a guy two feet away from him?
