Quad injury in the first.I saw only the final minutes, what happened to Nurk? He wasn't playing and I didn't see him on the bench...

I know but they have to keep taking them without hesitation. They will hopefully improve:Not saying they made dumb plays, but missing A LOT of wide open shots is kind of a big deal in the NBA, and really limits what a team can do on offense.
That is false.Blazers were 15 points better with Melo off the floor than with him in the game during the first half.

3rd time with 8 turnovers in his career. Ties a career high.
I was actually impressed with his work at center.Melo playing center

This win almost makes up for the Chicago loss.
CWe are 6-4 and not even playing well. We don’t even have Bubble Dame yet.
and Toronto missed theirsI want to note, the offense we ran in the 4th was no better than the first 3 quarters, but we made more shots.
I thought we missed a bunch of good looks early, it was only right some of those went down.

Chicago has looked decent since that game.

That win did not feel deserved but we need it.
How did we win that one? Say what want about Melo but he is playing well this season
Run away with that win and don’t look back!

Pretty much the same win Golden State got from them last night. The Raptors are not a bad team. They have just been on the road most of the beginning of the season.
the last play of the game was lucky as hell. we signed Jones for that very kind of situation. why he wasn't there next to Cov is an absolute blunder that terry got away with. one among many other decisions that left me scratching my head tonight.Nice win but a couple of things bugged the hell out of me.
One was the traveling call on Covington after he stole the ball. NBA players travel all game long..... why call that one? There were about 50 other times in the game where traveling was more obvious.
The second was the last play of the game. Aren't those types of situations the perfect scenario for Jones to be in the game?
I don't hate Stotts as much as most, but he drives me crazy when he refuses to play his best 5 defenders in the closing seconds of a game.
I was actually expecting a timeout to be called. Not calling timeout on CJs winning shot turned out to be a great clutch decision.
Oh, and more credit to CJ for hitting the shot!
Dame started hitting a few as well as melo and then of course Roco hit one. The last 5-6 minutes they cleaned up the shooting and clamped down on defense.I want to note, the offense we ran in the 4th was no better than the first 3 quarters, but we made more shots.

refresh my memory...was Melo in?

Exactly what i was thinking. I wonder if it was just an experiment that worked for Stotts? We watched him put in Giles and that absolutely didn't work at all. so he went back to Melo and Roco with Trent. The funny part is Melo was getting his hands on passes and got a couple blocks from what i watched. He set pretty good screens for Dame and of course can hit a shot when asked. He did ok... certainly has the footspeed of a center.
