If he did, they clearly didn't listen.
I think there is a better way, but I get Butler's frustration.

I wonder how much is just Butler being a complete jerk too. He had the same problem in Chicago, if I was a team trading for him, or signing him this summer, Id definitely hope it was just two bad situations and he just doesnt handle being frustrated very well...

They are pretty much guaranteed. You'd have to have a clear-cut case as the team to fire someone without pay. If a coach resigns, he doesn't get the money and can't coach anyone else during the time of the contract period. That's why coaches almost never resign.

As far as I’m concerned he is being paid to play the game fans are paying for tickets his teammates need him to play hard. He isn’t doing that. Lost all respect for the man.
