Nice win! Positive Nurk and Leonard both got double double. Dame CJ Zach Nurk Leonard all double in scoring. The defense held Minnesota to 32 percent shooting. Negative we shot 25 percent from 3.

Hard to really take anything away from this game. Pretty uninspiring effort from Wolves.

Feel bad for their fans. Right when you thought they might be turning it around...

Not sure why we're supposed to feel sorry for their fans. Less than two years ago, half the posters in this forum were jealous of all their young talent. Less than a year ago, half the posters in this forum thought Thibs was a better coach that Stotts.

Conversely, I doubt if they felt sorry for us when NOP swept us in the playoffs.

KAT is soft mentally and physically. 5 rebounds in 25 minutes from your starting center when your team gets out rebounded 66-38 is pathetic.

Blazers with at least 5 rebounds tonight:

Nurk = 12 reb in 22 minutes
Meyers = 12 reb in 21 minutes
Chief = 6 reb in 23 minutes
Layman - 6 rebounds in 24 minutes
Biggie = 5 reb in 9 min
Dame = 5 reb in 28 min
ET = 5 reb in 22 min

Half our roster out rebounded KAT and all but Dame did it in fewer minutes played. Hell, Stauskas had 4 reb in 9 minutes.

This shouldn't come as a surprise. Pat Connaughton out rebounded KAT 9 - 5 when Notre Dame and Kentucky met in the Elite 8 in 2015.

That's a complete lack of effort. Jimmy is being an asshole, but he isn't wrong about KAT. Talented, but soft as fuck.

I know CJ is far from a perfect player, but I'm so glad to have him rather than Butler, aka Major Soreness. Jimmy gives great effort for 1 season and then becomes a cancer and rubs everyone around him in a wrong way. He's a cactus.

Im dissapointed for them on a basketball level, this should be another yesr for KAT / Wiggins to learn how to play instead they’re stuck with a coach who obviously doesnt respect them, a star that should be providing veteran leadership, who is instead trying to prove some point about how hard he plays.
It sucks for Minnesota fans sure, but it sucks for basketball in general when a team with that much talent is basically taking a nose dive because the guys who should be leading them are alienating them instead.

Its obvious by the timing of things KAT thought Butler was going to be traded when he signed his contract. At least he’s showing up to the games, Jimmy’s cant play because general soreness, aka doesnt feel like it today. Yeah he’s a tough guy.
That whole situation is so bad, Taylor, Thibs, Butler, Wiggins, KAT all look awful.
Its funny how Butlers point is that KAT and Wiggins arent trying hard enough, and dont want to win enough, while Butlers generally too sore to even make it to the games...

Haven't read through the comments yet, but before I do I just want to say what a disservice our crappy announcers did to Trent Jr. Not one mention about scoring his first career bucket. Don't you have to at least mention it instead of talking about shoes the whole 4th quarter?

It was nice to see the Collins/Nurk lineup for a few minutes. They were a bullshit foul call on Collins and a stupid pass from Turner away from being a 10-2 run while in the game instead of 10-5.
