• Sunday marks the second of four regular season games between the Trail Blazers and Nuggets in 2016-17.

• LAST MEETING: Portland defeated Denver, 115-113, in overtime on Oct. 29. Damian Lillard scored a game-high 37 points on 15-of-28 shooting, including the game-winning field goal with 0.3 seconds remaining.

• In that Oct. 29 game, the Trail Blazers scored nine unanswered points in the final 1:26 of regulation to force overtime.

• The Trail Blazers have won 12 of their past 13 matchups against Denver dating back to the start of the 2013-14 season. Portland has won three straight season series entering this year, its longest such streak since winning four straight series from 1990-91 to 1993-94.

• The Trail Blazers have won six consecutive home games against the Nuggets, and are 14-2 vs. Denver at the Moda Center since the start of the 2008-09 season.

• Damian Lillard has averaged 29.3 points on 48.5% shooting over his past three games against the Nuggets (15.8 ppg in prev. four games vs. Den.).

• Damian Lillard has scored at least 30 points in two of his previous three games against the Nuggets after doing so twice in his first 12 career contests against Denver. Lillard’s 37 points against the Nuggets earlier this season (10/29) represents his highest scoring total in 15 career games vs. Denver.

• CJ McCollum (23 points, 10 rebounds) logged his lone double-double of the season against the Nuggets on Oct. 29 in Denver. McCollum has averaged 23.5 points over his past four games against Denver.

• With 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting against Denver on Oct. 29, Evan Turner has now recorded at least 10 points in three consecutive games against the Nuggets on 64.3% shooting.

• TEAM RANKS: The Trail Blazers rank sixth in the NBA in scoring at 108.4 points per game, while the Nuggets are allowing 108.0 points per game (T-24th in NBA).

• TEAM RANKS: Portland ranks fifth in the league in three-point field goal percentage (37.5%), while Denver has held opponents to 33.0% shooting from beyond the arc (ninth lowest % in NBA).
