he has unlocked myles turner
Still baffles me why Boston didn’t want Turner and a first for Hayward, instead opting for Tristan Thompson. Turner would be such a fit on that team. Ainge sucks.

The hole started widening when Ant was given enough burn to go about 4 minutes without a bucket...then everybody went cold from deep...Trent couldn't make one, Covington couldn't, Hood couldn't Kanter missed a couple bunnies, Melo missed a couple....ugly half of hoops
Ant looks like he has no idea what to do when he's on the floor.

what is the biggest halftime deficit Portland has ever come back from?

@wizenheimer ...boiled owl shit? :biglaugh:

Can Nas/Giles get some run just to maybe get some energy? Tell me how it could be worse than that steaming pile of dog excrement.

my first half thoughts:

* the game fell apart for Portland when they sat both Dame and CJ to start the 2nd Q. Obviously, that was because of the game last night. But I remember hearing incessantly how great the depth was on this team and they can't survive a back to back without looking like boiled owl shit?

* Portland has a 4 game win streak against lottery teams. I was looking forward to this game because this was a gauge of how much progression the Blazers have made against good teams. If the 1st half in an indication, not much
* Myles Turner is only 18 months older than Zach. Sabonis is only 16 months older

I’d say we are 7 deep unless Little and Giles become average, but we’re are only 4 deep with defenders then a giant drop off.

I’ve watched a few Indy games this season. They play completely different than when they had Nate. They’ve always played defense, but Bjorkgren changed their offense to fit the 21st century.
Hm, another guy nobody heard of who has modern ideas and ends up being a good coach. That's why I'm not a fan of "You have to know exactly who you'd replace Stotts with if you want to replace him". There's an interview process for a reason.

Without Oladipo/Levert, Warren, and Lamb they are.

They should be inferior...but not playing like it. Then again, they are playing both sides of the ball. The Blazers (and sadly too many of their fans) only think of offense.

Blazers scouting team might be worse in nba . Simmons little zach list goes on. If blazers release simmons this kid could not make G league . No improvement whatsoever from that sorry ass scrub

been saying that he's overrated for a while now

Turner and Sabonis are in a whole different league than zach. Waste of pick, same with Simons and swanigan and probably cj mach 2. And for the life of me I have no idea how good or bad Nas is. No one will ever know because stotts chooses to go with a guy that is at like 25 percent of what he once was before injury.
So what is your point sabonis and Zach came from the same college too.

If you’re going to play Ant, you have to play him with Dame. He seems to feel the pressure to produce when he’s out there by himself and presses too much. Maybe Dame will take pressure off of him and let lim play more freely.

I'm not sure if they double Melo because they are worried about him scoring; I think they know he doesn't do well under pressure. We were lucky that we didn't lose the ball every time he was doubled.

If the game keeps going the way it's going we should see CJ Elleby in this game.

If only the fans thought of defense more...
