Are Portland's Centers cursed?

Reminds me of Bazemore looking completely washed, then suddenly returning to the player he was before after leaving us.

He's averaging 5ppg this season for the Warriors.

DJJ is the new Aminu.
An absolute enigma on the offensive end of the court. Teams don't even have to begin to respect his shot so the Blazers end up playing 4 on 5 with an extra defender cruising the passing lanes because he doesn't have to worry about Jones making a shot.

Go ahead and watch every offensive possession he is on the court in the second half. He will not only be open sitting there he will wide wide wide open and his defender will be in the paint or at the top of the key mixing it up and clogging the lanes.

There is a place for him but absolutely not any more as a starter.

Aminu made 35% of his 3’s as a Blazer. He had had a 57% TS% his last year. That’s better than CJ’s career and better than Melo’s this year, a year where Melo is hitting 43% of his 3’s. If Aminu was wide open all the time (he wasn’t) they needed to passé him the ball and have him shoot more.

I think it's pretty obvious why they went with Simons instead of Gary. Because even though Simons is still struggling with being a PG, he's still a much better PG than Gary is, and unlike Gary, will actually look for others on offense.
Gary just shoots, and isn't known for being a steady dribble.
I’m not disagreeing with you but it’s hilarious that he came in and immediately made a bette play than anything Ant had done all night.

No, they should have gotten rid of those two.

there's a reason why Moe barely sniffs any playing time now.

Same reason DJJ barely did last year in the playoffs.

Yes, our forwards were worse than Aminu/Harkless last year. I hope that's not the new standard for what is good enough.

Aminu and Harkless were probably about average starters. They weren’t THE problem. Of course they had their flaws like all players do so you can look to upgrade.

I can't believe we're in this, but the second Dame goes out our margin of error will be razor thin.

cant wait for nobody to call him out on it.

we were down 5 when he put in Melo. I made a mental note of it because I’d be surprised if we were only down 5 when this quarter ended.

I wrote this before he put in Giles.

Dame doing Dame things, and scores are tied at 3/4 time.

Tied after 3 quarters. One quarter to decide them all.
