I'd prefer Whiteside in FA next summer but the odds of signing him may not be too good

I think many are underestimating Lopez, He maybe isn't good enough to lead a team all on his own but he is better than some people say. He's a very good offensive Center and better than advertised as a Rebounder and Defender. I think if it's mainly for cap-space it'd be a good trade for us, one that makes sense in many different ways

Yes, I'm guessing that's a concern but in all other aspects I like him for the Blazers. The other concern I have is becoming too deep up-front with too many players deserving of minutes and players becoming disgruntled but I think in a non-small-lineup our only real Center right now is Plumlee

All you guys want these players that have talent but won't get us closer to a title because they're either overrated, not good enough to get us another all star in free agency, they cost too much, or they're the perfect player to stick is in mediocrity. Lopez and Derozen would fit under this.
