Who is more annoying, when considering the whining and flopping?

Yup refs showing how incompetent they are yet again. The intelligent level to be a ref is so low its crazy

Its the stupid NBA rule. The league should change it so any intentional foul to stop a fast break is clear path. Then we could get rid of these stupid reviews. The current rule doesn't prevent those fouls, nor does it allow teams to fast break.

It's funny; when you put them next to each other, they look nothing alike...

Can someone tell me why Aminu is called chief? I must have missed how he received that nickname.

He is descendant from a line of Nigerian Kings.

Noah Grandpa is the leader of some African village.

Both grew up in the states but its just interesting tidbit of their heritage.

I'd say keep it as-is (mostly) with the caveat that if another player on the fouled team is unguarded and ahead of the fouling player, then it's definitely clear path.

His Grandpa or something is an actual chief of some African tribe.

Also I think Farouq means Chief...

I think many are underestimating Lopez, He maybe isn't good enough to lead a team all on his own but he is better than some people say. He's a very good offensive Center and better than advertised as a Rebounder and Defender. I think if it's mainly for cap-space it'd be a good trade for us, one that makes sense in many different ways

Lumbering centers that can't protect the rim are worthless in the modern NBA.

Can you imagine him trying to chase around Draymond Green and Steph Curry in pick and rolls?

He's the type of player that puts you in NBA purgatory where he can help with regular season wins but he has no possible role on a team winning playoff series.

In that case games like tonight prove that Davis and Plumlee can play like this whenever they way, but they CHOOSE not to.

I don't think you got my point. Batum is one of the most talented players in the league who consistently underachieves because he doesn't care enough to be great.

If Ed Davis had Batums skills he'd be an all star.

Fuck yeah!!!! Clippers are .500 now. I'm not impressed with Western Conference except for Warriors and we match up well with them.

Reddick's been injured, CP3 been injured, tonight they got in after 3am on a grueling back to back. Clippers will be one of the top teams in the league. When you have the top2 players in the league at 3 positions you're always in the mix.

Deandre Jordan is the only Clipper giving props to the Blazers. Oh and Sam Cassell. Maybe Deandre isn't as much of a turd as I thought.

Yeah I'm fans of him and Griffin. CP3 is the guy with short man syndrome whining to the refs nonstop. Doc doesn't help.

Clippers window is slamming shut.

They've played the Warriors extremely well twice. Last night if they had a healthy Reddick they might've won. They are more reliant on their 3rd and 4th players being healthy than the Warriors but if the Clippers are healthy in the playoffs they'll be a very tough out for anybody. They beat a defending champ Spurs team last year that was playing well. The Warriors never beat that good of an opponent. The Clips have a much better bench this year, look at how much the Rockets are missing Josh Smith.

The Warriors are dominating right now but most years March and April look very different than November in the NBA.

Great win by the Blazers.

Biggest takeaway; the Plumlee Davis duo can be effective.

I still don't think its good to start; but we might see more of it in the 2nd and 4th quarters. See how the teams are defending it. I didn't expect Aminu to be as effective with 3's as he's been this year so that really opens up our spacing. Plumlee can't shoot outside but with his handles and passing he has value in the high post. We were able to get good looks with that group on the floor. It'll be interesting to watch those two playing together more.

I was so excited to watch Harkless earlier this year but now he only gets 7 minutes. Seems like him or Crabbe has success but never both of them.

2 of our next 3 are against the Lakers so lets get a little winning streak going! Just realized 4 of 5 games are against LA teams... lets pause the tank show for a bit and put those punks in their place.

Go Blazers!

Top 2 PGs Curry and Lillard
Top 2 PFs Green and Love
Top 2 Cs Drummond and Whiteside

I don't see any Clippers there. The only reason it was grueling was that they had to play a dominant team like ours.

Clippers were awful in last year's playoffs. First they played a Spurs team that choked on the 2 seed in the last week of the season. Then they lost to the fucking Rockets, blowing an 18 point fourth quarter lead in Game 6. They're losers. CP3 has never been to a conference final and he never will.

Cool. One more word about the Clippers. They came into this season wanting to contend. It not even Thanksgiving yet and they're already 7 games behind the Warriors. What a disaster.

I want a college freshman as my therapy animal. She can even go to Blazer games with me.

Don't want a start a new thread and I didn't know where to put this, but Luis Monteros physical transformation is exciting to see. You can literally see him getting stronger. I can't wait to see his progress next season.

was one of those a before and he other an after?

I can't wait to see him backing up Ben Simmons next year. ;)

...if they're hitting 60% of their FT's, yes. Otherwise you're in hack-a-Davis AND hack-a-plums mode.

It's really not that big of a deal. Teams normally only hack a player when down significantly or a sub 50% FT shooter. We probably won't have big leads, both guys are shooting better than that and our opponents often aren't in the penalty. Yes it's something Stotts may have to be ready for but there's about 83 more important aspects to the Blazers winning a game.

I thought they were both afters. Looked much skinnier in summer.

Hopefully Stotts will wake up from his obsession with having a "stretch 4". Teams have one for years with two inside players at Center and PF.

I agree; I like the Plumlee/Davis frontline. I LOVE that both players are trying to improve at the line.

They won! and it only took career games from Plumlee and Davis, piece of cake!

I use to enjoy those made 1/3 court Dame 3s at clutch time, now i'm just afraid it will give him an appetite to take more of those down the road.

Was funny when Aminu led a fast break and Rice was like: "AMINU NEEDS TO TAKE IT EASY NOW!!" ....like he's trying to disarm some crazy guy with a gun.

DAMNIT! I shoulda taken Tunchi up on his bet. ;)

He did great but he was ineffiecent all night till that last 5 min. Ironically his first time this season taking over.

I think he needs to improve on the efficient part of his game and tone that Steph curry type of shots down. He can only do that.

He did great tho and nobody can ever take Dame's heart away its the best part of his game.

Ps there's a reason why you didn't take the bet because deep down you know what I'm talking about ;)

Also, I don't bet. lol.

Didn't he take over the first two games of the year, too?
