Can't miss that shot CJ. Easiest you'll get tonight.

He's solid on ball and pretty smart but his versatility is pretty limited and doesn't offer much as a help defender or rebounder.

Doesn't help that he's having to play the 3 on this team.

At 6'8 Hood can guard 1-3 and force tough looks more often than not.
Defending 3 positions if asked is pretty versatile.

I do not like what i see. This team is not PO team. At least untill all players return back... unfortunatelly, i do not know for you but this is painfull to watch. :( hope they will change something

I have the exclusive scoop on what was said during that timeout:

Terry: "CJ, if you're going to dribble the entire possession and shoot the ball, stand behind the line."

he's having his way with Ant..just tosses him out of the way and lays the ball up...last time he got his own miss and put back while Ant stood and watched...

One has a contract for over $100,000,000 and is an NBA vet. The other is on a rookie contract and is barely 20 years old. I expect more from one of those.

He can guard certain 1's and certain 3's but he's not a guy you can just stick on anybody.

If Little is in the game with Carmelo, Melo can pass it to Little for a dunk when he gets the double team. Nobody else runs to the hoop like Little.

Watching Simons attack the rim and maybe not finish reminds me of Dame in his first few years but Ant is way more athletic. Ant will figure out how to finish.

Good take by Simons, but I'd rather him hit the man in the corner for 3.

Earlier in the year Simons made it clear when Bazemore missed him wide open. Yet Simons just missed a wide open player himself.

Early rust...Melo 3-10 and a -15. But you can see how he can help in certain situations.

This is the worst defensive team I’ve seen in my life.

He's not tony allen and going to shut down his man no.
But he will force tough shots and players off their preferred spot, while still contesting the shot due to his length.
Which is an underrated defender.
I'm reminded of last year when Jalen Brown was lighting up Jake Layman.
Soon as Hood came into the game. He forced Brown out another step and Brown went cold.

Hood most certainly can go from checking Jrue, to Westbrick, to Har_en, then check Ingram, etc.

What are we ranked in rebounding? My god teams kill us on the boards

Getting completely outworked on the glass. Again.

The Blazers defensive scheme is beyond atrocious. Wonder where that comes from....
