  • Norman Powell was taken with the 46th pick in the 2015 draft by the Bucks and traded to the Raptors. He played 6 seasons for the Raptors from 2015 - 2021.

19 of the next 26 games will be at home for Portland. That stretches to the 40 game mark. Blazers better be 10 games over .500 at the 40 game mark because 26 of their last 42 games are on the road

Judging from the effort, I think even the players on the team thought there would be changes this last off-season. When there weren't, they knew rolling it back again wasn't the answer no matter who the coach was. Completely uninspired effort that is not worthy of the Blazer uniform.

Reflecting on the Powell/Trent deal makes my head hurt.

Right now, Powell is probably the better player. He is more experienced and the deal saved some money. It was a win-now deal - and at the time that made sense. Less than a year later, it no longer does. Having a 3rd young player with promise would be worth way more than guys like Powell and RoCo. So would those 2 draft picks. When you make that kind of win-now deals and you don't win there is no good ending.

When you make those kinds of win now deals and don't win a series in the playoffs... that's a big time problem.

Portland definitely won the Powell/Trent trade.

The RoCo one is debatable.

Some of the names on their bench though…Pretty Watanabe Precious! lol

This is winning game but not the way they we been playing. But now I wonder which team going show the 5-1 home or the ugly road team we been watching.

yeah, I know. I was just trying to point out that it wasn't just Stotts that supposedly undervalued Jones

more than that though is it's pretty wacky to conclude Jones has some new found talent that Stotts couldn't find. He's only played in 9 games and he's averaged less than 17 minutes in those 9 games. He's averaging 6 points and 3 rebounds...what an all-star!!. He's only had 40 FGA and he's not going to keep shooting 82.4% on two's or carry .735 TS%

it was a stupid tweet

Meh. I think a pick and jones for nance was great value.

wouldn't call it great, but it was better value than Ariza and two firsts for RoCo

As with the Turner contract where NO ONE was offering close to what Olshey offered E.T., I've heard from multiple sources that Ariza and 1 first round pick would have very likely got the deal done. No one else was offering more.

No space for negative energy, time to rock those sweet new jerseys and win.
speaking of which, outside of Nas, does anyone on the team look happy? don't usually want to make much of the body language, but this whole read trip, they've all looked miserable.

Really Stotts gave him plenty of chances. Dude could not hit a 3 to save his life when they needed it and i have never seen so many missed dunks in one year by any one player ever.
He also seemed to have a perpetual problem with getting hit in the groin area. Weird?

uh yeah, they’re losing. Why would they be happy?

I promise, not everything is a conspiracy.
If they win this one I'm betting they will look "Happy". Just wait and see. It's something in the air? They must pump happy smoke or something in the arena when they win.

Norm has played hard. I think he's all in - but he's frustrated playing out of position
