It seems to be a back issue and it's been bothering him for the second half of last season and the first half of this season. He's still a smart defender and a poke artist but now also frequently allows guys to blow past him--he's lot a lot of lateral quickness.

He's got a bag waiting for him this summer and I think he's gonna run through walls this season to get it.

Achiuwa getting his wind back after missing several months has CK relegated to the G-League. I was a little surprised he was on this road trip.

It could hurt to try. Giving up a pick and Sharpe in the package that gets us a vet could hurt real bad for years to come.

Stop it. Just stop. Getting Wemby is a total long shot. The odds are so stacked against us that it’s ridiculous to build a “strategy” around getting him.

I couldn't agree more that this is an awfully constructed roster but with Dame's age being what it is, we should not wait until the off season to correct the awful construction. Make trades that match the talent on the roster with the scheme and with Dame then see what happens and re-assess if or when we get bounced from the playoffs, play-ins or don't even touch the post season.

Good Lord. You’re thinking about “the years to come”? Portland’s best chance to win a title is with Lillard, before he’s over the hill. If I thought trading Sharpe and a pick could get us another star player to play alongside Lillard, I would do it yesterday.

Dude. We’re going nowhere this year. It’s not December anymore. I guess I’ll ask you again, what are your expectations? And when will this team start winning. We’ve lost a ton of games WITH Hart and Nurk.

We can choose to quit on the season and increase our odds. Even if we don’t get Wemby, there are other great players in the draft. Trust me. You yell at me now but once we draft Wemby or Scoot, you’ll buy his jersey and cheer him on. And you’ll be extremely pleased.
 
People say our odds are long that we’ll get Wemby but are they any longer than our odds of winning the title?

Punting on this season the game after we saw our guy score the most efficient 60 in the history of the NBA is not an option. We need to strike while the iron is hot and act with urgency like Dame implored the team to do before he went and won a gold medal. We can't fucking wait. Joe has to do everything he can do right now and then in the off season we make even more moves.

The whole “tanking” strategy is stupid, in my opinion. Especially tanking two years in a row. There have been too many flops in the Top 10, and too many equally good players later in the first round, to make it a viable strategy for improving a team.
 
See why I want to tank? What’s the point of losing 3-4 in a row, then winning 1, losing 3 in a row, the winning 2 in a row, then losing 5 in a row, then winning 1, then losing 2 in a row, etc

We’ve been waiting for several years. All we ever get is a rearranged deck of the same ol’. I doubt a 60pt performance is going to make a difference now
 
It looks a bit like we are tanking... whether we are sitting people or not.

Lillard isn’t retiring next year. He’s going to be a great player for the next 5 years at least. A seasoned Sharpe and Wemby could win a title with Dame in 2027.

What kind of star player are you looking for? I mean we got Grant. He was on Team USA. Sharpe could be the best player we’ve ever had and BEFORE Lillard retires. They could win together.

And I meant Sharpe and a pick as PART of the package. Like Ant, Sharpe, and a pick for OG. That’s prob available for us but it would be terrible for our future.

Mediocracy has to do with social constructs and economy but nothing to do with basketball, so please stay in your lane and by in your lane, I mean park. This team isn't good enough.
