Nurkic was talking about Dame being a brother a week after he was traded to Portland. Kanter and Hood said some of the same things last year. Melo has already implied it, and for sure, Dame and Melo seemed to be getting on the same page in last night's game
I'll give Olshey credit for doing a good job of bringing in character guys during his tenure. But I think a lot of it started with Paul Allen. He really seemed to reset the gauges after the jailblazer era and demand integrity and accountability from players. I mean, when was the last time any Blazer was associated with anything negative? (other than their turnovers and bad defense). I mean, the "darkest" thing any of them has done has been Lopez going to Comic-Con....what an outlaw!
