CJ was hot out of the gate but our defense was as terrible as ever and the Pelicans scored easily. That and Crabbe and Turner came out and bricked a bunch of threes. But then things turned around, Leonard played good D and hit some shots. Layman had a sweet drive to the basket on a fast break. Also, Harkless has been great on offensive glass. We feel good.
Maybe his inlaws are in town for the holiday, and he's not getting any, so he has to take his frustration out on the court.
I'm not talking about on the court. I'm talking on the bench and in the lockerroom. People might listen to him since he's been to the promise land and he has been a part of greatness.
It would be great if he can fill that role, and contribute even when he's not playing.
