GAME 2: Beverly Steals the Ball from Paul Allen

Funny moment (at least I think so) in Game 2 between the Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets.

Houston Rockets guard Patrick Beverley was about to dive for a ball that was headed out of bounds. I think he hesitated because Portland Trail Blazers center Robin Lopez (42) was spiraled in his usual spot on the floor. With no chance at saving the ball, Beverley safely leaps past the first couple rows.

The ball ended up at Portland Trail Blazers owner Paul Allen's feet.

Allen quickly grabs the ball and winds up to toss the ball to the referee. But before he could, Beverley snatched the ball right out of his grip and headed to the court.

I doubt Beverley knew who he was and it doesn't really matter -- just some Blazers fan in the front row of the Toyota Center.

The looks these guys gave each other was subtle, but priceless.
