As I stated when this series started. Not too optimistic. However, still hopeful. Vali said the Islanders were hard on Crosby's wingers and took them away which was the key. The Rangers did not do that at all in game 1.

They have to avoid those bad lapses where the completely lose track of people going to the net.

I'll put this very directly and plainly - if the Rangers can't win at home tonight, in a virtual must win, against a 3rd string goalie, they are not the team I thought they were. It is really that simple. This is a game they should roll - just like the Wild and Oilers did after losing game 1 at home. Nothing else really needs to be said IMO.

That is not good. Lindgren is the bigger loss because he plays D, but Goodrow is a big loss as well. I didn't even know he was hurt. No excuses though as the Pens are on their 3rd string goalie, and missing players also.

Who pairs with Fox? Please do not say Nemeth. Miller and Trouba need to be great tonight and shadow the Crosby line. Hopefully since he was close tonight Lindgren misses only 1 game. Who knows the scoop on Goodrow.

Injuries are starting to mount on both sides.

Penguins moneyline +150.....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Goodrow wins two Stanley cups with Tampa. Never misses any playoff games. Signs with the Rangers, gets hurt in his first game in the playoffs. Unreal

Starting already with the weak calls. Nemeth sucks!

Guentzel is the new Gretzky. Wtf.

Somebody needs to put guentzel they the friggin boards already.

Everybody loved the Trouba hit on Crosby until they realized he was out of position leaving Geuntzel all alone in the slot.

Power Plays in the series now 6-1 in favor of Pittsburgh.

All 4 Pitt lines are hitting. Rangers just aren’t engaged yet.

Hate to complain about it but This is getting fishy regarding power plays. I mean, are the pens that disciplined?

Guentzel is playoff guy. Would love to have him on the rangers. Panarin take note

Igor has bailed us out this far but we have to start bouncing some pens around starting with the 2nd period. Gallant needs to call both refs over and rip them a new asshole with all the bullshit crosby getting away with instead of standing there with a befuddled look on his face

Rooney blows. I like Strome but keeping Copp is more important. IMO, the team needs more speed up front. You see what it does with Carolina and what it did during the Hagelin years. Problem with Panarin is he plays at a snails pace trying to develop stuff. It works in the regular season. Not in the playoffs.
