Although it's a back-to-back for the Blazers, Lillard only played 27 minutes last night. So hopefully, he has enough energy to contend with Westbrook, who always takes these matchups against Dame seriously.

Of course, that can be a double-edged sword for the Wizards, as Westbrick can shoot you out of a game just as likely as he is to shoot you in.

Whatever the case, it'll be a fun matchup at the PG spot.

Also, I'm really interested to see how Nassir follows up a career night. Can he keep shooting the ball at a respectable clip, especially on the second night of a back-to-back? Guess we'll find out.

In response to the poll question:

Even though we shouldn't be in the position of starting a player of DJJs caliber, I don't think he should lose his job because he got hurt and Nas had one good game. That would be a little too reactionary for me.

huh? Dame has always said he has 0 beef with Russ

Off the court, they have zero beef. But they will trash talk each other and get after each other on the court.

I have Bertans in my fantasy lineup. We are just what he needs to get his season on track. He lit us up last year.

I have a feeling it’ll be a Beal and Lillard show, and down to the wire.

Not to side step the question. If Jones does play it will be nice to have him back.
It will also be nice to have Little available and i hope he continues to play well.
Maybe we could see a little less Melo with both of those guys available.
It would be nice for Roco to find his stroke again as well. Just has not been the same since he took a couple games for the concussion.
One other thing. Seems Gary Trent has been struggling a bit. Would be cool to see his shot start to fall again soon.

I’ll take Nas over Jones but not because I think Jones sucks, Stotts just doesn’t know how to utilize him. He’s got him stationary, standing in the corner. Give me the better shooter then if that’s the strategy.

Hopefully the Wiz have no scouting report yet on Nas! It's only a matter of time before they start game planning for him

Wiz don't know what scout report is. Probably they don't have one for Dame as well.

Time to unleash GT on Beale and see what he can do..

So I'm torn here?
I predicted before the season started that the Blazers would start out 10-10.
If they win tonight my prediction will be wrong.

Nah I'm not torn. 11-9 sounds better.

Here's a thing i was thinking. How cool would it be to actually have Kanter and Nurk playing for the team at the same time for an extended period of time? That might lead to a few wins don't ya think?
That lead me to think about another thing. How cool would it be to have Kanter, Nurk, Collins Dame, CJ, Roco, and Jones with Simons, Little, Trent and Giles (yeah i left Melo out on purpose) All available for maybe 10 games?
That might lead to a few wins also?

Now hear me out ! Imagine everything you just said AND a coach that has a clue ! Now THAT might lead to a few wins !

Dame said we’re not a championship team. His words. Says a lot

Feel bad for the dude

Nas and Robin Lopez should exchange hair style secrets. No one would object because both are Fashion Risks.

Yeah. Getting them in that rotation is completely up to our fearless leader, Stotts..

You didn't mean literally at the same time, did you?

a worthy compromise is to give both players a better coaching staff
