We shouldn't switch at all. Period haha.
It's not. We need to shade a side to make it easier to get through the screen or harder to use the screen and get downhill. Also need the big man shading opposite of the on-ball defender to provide proper help. When Gallinari is the sceener, it's the best option.
You could also go under on Shai, but he's shown to be a good 3pt shooter with time and space.
No, they don't need to pick up that high. That's asking for foul trouble and asking to wear them out.I'm okay with switching, rather not have Gallo do his best Morris impression.
But like I said, the guards need to pick up the ball frankly. at half court.

If only we had him as a coach:
Meyers has been open twice with the ball and hasn't even looked at the rim. "The coaches need to assign him six 3pt attempts a half!" lol.
More likely to give up open threes / 4 on 3 situations by putting 2 on the ball. It's not. We need to shade a side to make it easier to get through the screen or harder to use the screen and get downhill. Also need the big man shading opposite of the on-ball defender to provide proper help.
LMAO, what the hell was Dame playing with on the sidelines?
Letting the ball handler who can't shoot get a head of steam downhill towards the screen and a sagging big man isn't a good idea. There are many ways to stop a team from getting an easy 15ft jumper off against a smaller player if you're switching.
Picking up the ball higher is one of them.
That's all I'm asking Portland to do if they switch.
What? When did I say put two on the ball?Your is more likely to give up open threes with putting 2 on the ball.
I like Nik cutting. Seth has been a 50% 3pt shooter this season. If Nik can continue cutting into the teeth of the defense, then he might be able to start collapsing it and getting Curry open 3s. I like them playing off each other.More stauskas less curry
Yes, he is. He's terrible. Is Milos Teodosic really that poor of a defender?
Every time I watch the Clippers he's getting destroyed on that end.

Gallinari is 6'10 with a high release point. Dame and C.J. are 6'3. Switching them onto Gallo isn't a good idea. Just play fundamental pick n roll defense. SGA is actually the type of player you ICE the pick n roll on. Our guards always switch the because they die on screens because they don't shade.
It comes down to getting good shots. Dame and CJ can get a shot off pretty much any time, but if they're tough shots and they're not playing great, and the offense isn't producing anything else due to the way it's being ran, then we get crushed. If Dame and CJ got better shots, and the offensive produced better shots for everyone as a whole, then we'd be better.Sounds silly and obvious but it really just comes down to making shots for this team. Dame and CJ can create their own shots and our offense gets us good shots. When we are making them we are hard to beat unless we are horrible on defense.
I thought it was from @SlyPokerDog 's dungeon.
