Another high for a Blazer opponent. Harris with a career-tying high of 34 points.

We really missed Nurk during that second half and we really missed a ton of shots too.

Absolutely missed Nurk....but Dame/CJ should still be the 2 best or 2 of the 3 best players on the court when playing the Clippers.

And they got crushed in the 2nd half.

This team has no balance you got 2 guy almost shooting half there shots in this game. Problem was both of them wasn't hitting the 3 ball. Loosing Nurk really hurt in the 2nd half. But I do give Zach and Leonard credit they did a decent job for his replacement.

Sometimes I cant blame em. Aminu has been wide open for 4 years now and still can't hit a shot to save his life.
Maybe we need to try something with Aminu that doesn't involve him standing at the 3 point line scratching his ass and watching the ball. Maybe he's not the best guy to tell to spot up for 3 all game long.

Clips have no star but have same record as us basically and vlbeat us by 22 in the 3rd

I was talking about how we couldn't do that AT THE START OF THE GAME. Terry blows.
I missed the first half, but if I know Stotts, we didn't change a thing from 1st to 2nd half. All that changed was his players quit hitting bad shots and the Clippers may have changed their defense to put more pressure on Dame. And we did nothing for that because in all the years he's been here, Stotts has never had an answer for that.

Am I crazy or has the offense already completely gone back to what it was last year?

Saw some different actions and sets the first 15 games or so and now they’ve seem to have abandoned most of it and went back to what got us embarassed against NOP. Makes no sense.

Remember when the talk was of losing Curry after one year? Now I’m hoping he doesn’t pick that option up. Has he done anything outside of the occasional set three? Why does he play over Stauskas?

It’s what they know. Can’t wait until stotts starts staggering guards and CJ ends up back with the second unit.

Odd stats:
we outshot them (% wise) in every stat:
fg% 43.3 to 42.2
3% 21.1 to 20
ft% 80 to 67.6
We outrebounded them 58 to 48
We outassisted them 18 to 15

Difference? we had 12 TOs to their 4 and 24 fouls to their 13. They got 9 steals to our 2.
Real difference: that fucking 3rd quarter.

You would be right.

Nba needs to fine the Clippers for playing 6 on 5 whenever Nards was in the game.
Actually I demand the game gets replayed.
Fielding a ghost isn't acceptable.

Curry: +13 in 23 minutes. Curry wasn't the problem.
(Stauskas was good tonight too - +9 in 7 minutes. Tonight we needed more of both.

Clippers had 6 players with double digit FG attempts, meanwhile we have Dame and CJ jack up 48 of the teams 97 shots...

Curry is complete liability on defense and hasn't done enough on offense to warrant being in the game.

Im not even a Leonard fan but he was not the problem tonight. He played well.

Harrell man I wish we had him

It really sucked because it was Wheels season debut on the call...I'm thrilled he's back...now if the jump shots come back I'll be even more thrilled

So that's why he got pulled for not shooting when he came out to start the 3rd for Nurk.

I never said he was the problem, and if you read the thread you'll see I gave him credit when it was due.
But Nards was a problem tonight.
