They were not the best team tonight. They won the game but i do not think they were the best team on the court. The Clippers are the best team in the West for a reason. Tough loss.
Yeah i'm a little tired of Stotts always being nice. He needs to blow a gasket every once in while.Stotts needs to freak out and get a tech or ejected once in a while...he's too mellow with refs and they know he'll keep it civil
The difference was having Nurk, the first half he helped with spacing, rebounding, screening and scoring on the inside. Adjustments were made, we just didn't hit shots.I missed the first half, but if I know Stotts, we didn't change a thing from 1st to 2nd half. All that changed was his players quit hitting bad shots and the Clippers may have changed their defense to put more pressure on Dame. And we did nothing for that because in all the years he's been here, Stotts has never had an answer for that.
What do you mean? He wouldn't have ended up in Harrell, since we were every pick n roll. People advocating for Melo don't realize just how bad his defense it. That'd just be redistributing our issues, not solving them.Maybe? In a game like that he could have held down Harrell on the mid range but he would have needed help around the rim. Harrell doesn't shoot well so he could have work the passing lanes a bit. Melo is still a smart player and does effect the game on the defensive side.
Well i'm not one of the people advocating for him but i also don't think people who are saying his defense is terrible are giving him quite enough credit. The guy has years of experience and he has been on the court enough. If a coach knows how to use him he can be effective. Melo does not like to bang. He is not gonna stop Harden. But he can be used in the lanes and he can defend the three pretty well. What do you mean? He wouldn't have ended up in Harrell, since we were every pick n roll. Hes coming back from an injury. I hope he isn't being butthurt again.
Last ten games (not including tonight):

Curry has been our best +/- guy, and was again tonight. Stauskas has been terrible. He was good tonight, though, and deserved more minutes, but not at the expense of Curry.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Curry may be our version of Kyle Korver - another guy who has been a perpetual +/- leader despite being basically nothing but a shooter. If you're good enough of a shooter to demand attention, it helps everyone else out.
Dame with a team leading 4 assists
We got tons of ticky tack fouls and they weren't calling it the same to us as they were for the Clippers. Of course i'm biased but 24 FTA disparity and a 11 foul disparity is pretty insane no matter how you look at it.I thought the refs were really good today.
Our team wasnt.

Funny, when I presented Lowry's feast or famine to you a year or so ago, you went silent.
Kinda like how you were when we were up 15.
You have a style.
You do you, boo boo.
Coming into tonight , Curry has a PER of 5.6 and a VORP of -0.1. Both of which probably fell further with his 2/7 performance tonight. He also now has a remarkably low 3 free throws attempted in 16 games. He's been trash this season and a major disappointment. +/- is a silly stat when you take it at face value.
He was 37% last year. For his volume that's great, and that's not even mentioning how much it opens up Nurk on the pick n roll, how many fouls he draws off of it, and how far defenses have to extend.Dude why do u keep mentioning Lowry? What are you talking about? His team is number 1 in the East, he’s been voted STARTING East point guard before, made it to the eastern conference finals before, and I think he leads the league in assists right now...
I love Dame too and especially what he does for the city of Portland, his leadership style and overall personality but the guy can’t shoot 3s. That’s all I’m saying. He plays in a conference that’s extremely tough so I understand that part.
All I’m saying is his 3 point shooting is terrible this year..
Actually his original account was banned for threatening violence towards another forum member.

But this will all probably go through one ear and out the other (metaphorically).
100%. Hes slumping. Doesnt make him bad overall like you seem to be stating. All those things are factors that make him a more effective 3pt shooter than his percentage would otherwise indicate.Man it’s not that serious. It’s just a game. We can all be mad and disagree with one another but at the end of the
Would u admit he’s bad from 3 this year

I meant that doesnt make him bad from 3pt. Hes a career 36.7% 3pt shooter and currently shooting around 34%. That's the difference of about 10 points per 100 possessions which is a huge amount. Also, 36.7% is a solid percentage, but as I said, theres more that goes into being a good 3pt shooter than percentage, and I listed all the factors that make him better than his percentage would otherwise indicate. Hes not a bad 3pt shooter at all. Hes quite good.I never said he’s bad overall. He’s great from the mid range and finishing at the rack.. he’s also very good at drawing fouls.
Only thing I hate about Lillard is he isn’t good from beyond the arc.
Btw he’s not “slumping” his 3 point shooting is at about his career number

Yeah, it is a hit or miss scheme because it doesnt do a good job of getting good shots, yet our guards are good enough to hit thought shots and create stuff on their own.I don't blame anyone about our losses this Stotts offense it a hit or miss scheme. There really nothing between in this scheme. It guard oriented offense and that why you see the most shots come from our guards on both the 1st and the 2nd lineups. Thats why our forwards don't shoot well because there in no rhythm for them.
Meyers has a hammer like Thor would use, for crushing heads.
Not saying i agree at all with @Rozay , but he's not wrong on Dames 3 point Shooting. He's now at 33.5%, that is bad, a Friend of Mine calls Lillard a brick Machine from 3, and that has been Lillard biggest Problem in his Career, he has to many off nights to be elite , that's Why almost many fans outside of Blazers Fans Never consider him an MVP, just not constant enough. And i love Dame he is my favourite Player
