This team stacks up pretty good considering the young and inexperienced they are. Crabbe, Leonard and CJ all grown quite a bit as players. Then you add scrappy, slashers like Davis and Aminu and this can be a tough group. While a lot of this roster may end up playing elsewhere, the foundation is there.
Agreed.

Lillard, crabbe, Cj, aminu, plumlee, Davis and Leonard is a pretty good foundation that will continue to grow. I think Leonard ends up being the odd man out and the most likely to leave with us obtaining an upgrade. At this point, I think we need an elite pf. Ben Simmons would be PERFECT at pf for this group. Right now it looks like we might be too good to have a realistic chance to draft him.

I think the addition of Davis and Aminu for the money we paid for them shows how good a GM Olshey is. This is a market that is a no go for top flight talent and he stole two quality players for next to nothing. Contrast that with the big money contracts that teams like Phoenix, SA and LA doled out. No one does more with less.

And one of my favorite.

I think Portland needs to get more shots for their supporting cast. Leonard and Crabbe in particular. Leonard has a bad habit of passing up open shots and it results in someone else having to hoist up a bad shot. Lillard and McCollum just need to stop forcing up so many shots, it'll make the Blazers a better offensive team.

Lillard and CJ are going to force some shots. That happens when no one else on the team can dribble and/or create their own shot.

You said yourself......" Leonard has a bad habit of passing up open shots and it results in someone else having to hoist up a bad shot"

How is that Lillard or CJ's fault?

I do agree that the offense works much better when Leonard is on the floor. He is a great target to have when things break down. The fact that he can shoot from all spots on the floor is huge. I agree he needs to shoot more, and that will come in time IMO. Crabbe is coming along nicely as well.

There are no free agents really worth the time (minus the unrealistic ones like durant) so might as well keep this group together, keep the pick, and just trust Olshey can find a third scorer in the draft, even if it's not a top 5 pick. I trust he can.

Damn I'm so stoked about that win. Where are all the Dame Haters? He came up huge in the clutch tonight.

is there another starter in the league avging less mins than Vonleh ?

Crabbe is an excellent shooter, always under control, knows what he's doing and what he have to do, and seems to be starting to add shot creation to his game.
On top of that, he's a good defender.

Why isn't he playing more ?

So much depth. It's a curse.

I think he was yelling at Lillard. And I do mean "YELLING". More like screaming, lmao.

Good game fam! GO BLAZERS!
I thought he was yelling at Rubio for the turnover? IDK

Blazers suck at tanking. Players don't want to lose their job to Simmons. Stotts has his work cut out for him.

maybe because we're not trying to trade him

Well, Stotts has prepared his notebook a few months ago and in that notebook he determined that Crabbe should not play big minutes.
