We better win our first game in these...
For no particular reason, and certainly not having anything to do with superstitions. :smiley-whistle:

The Rose Garden is cursed (my first live Blazers game was the grand opener against Vancouver) in that case

Chill everyone. Pat doing his thing, he's starter for this one no doubt, and he deserves to be! CHILL! is a tough game, we gotta defend giannis, he's the thing for this game. Bleedsoe always push Lillard to have a big game, so you guys can expected a big perfomance for him. Time to win 4 in a row and 4 in a row at home. Go Blazers!

Either Vonleh or Ed 1-on-1 on Giannis. Aminu as the 3rd option

I dont like MIL matchup, they have length that bother us... Im expecting tough game, hopefully well keep the streak going

I would not put ED on him. Giannis would just start outside and blow right by him. Vonleh and Aminu should get most minutes on him IMO.
That leaves Pat and Harkless and Jake on Middleton
CJ and ET on Snell

Bledsoe has usually been good against us, hasn't he? I remember him hitting a buzzer beater last year.

As long as we keep Giannis below 25 points we should be fine.

Giannis can have a big game, and we can still win. We just need to make sure no one else goes off on us. Middleton's length will be a problem for Pat and Bledsoe seems to be a tough match up for Dame.

Getting Aminu back will help against Middleton and Dame needs to continue to put in the effort on defense. Bledsoe, due to his strength and athleticism, has give Dame fits in the past. Tonight will be a litmus test for Dame's improved defense.

I wouldn't be so sure about that, last time we didn't have have Vonleh, this time we do. If I was Stotts I would put Noah on The Freak all game.

To clarify, If Giannis is in the game so is Vonleh and he doesn't go out until GF does and when he comes back in so does Noah. Don't even give The Freak a chance to get going against Davis, Meyers, Caleb or whoever Stotts decides to give minutes to off the bench tomorrow. Giannis is Noah's assignment.

Yes, I realize this would mean that Stotts would have to not be so stringent on his rotations but I can hope can't I?

That was all sounding so good....until the "stringent on his rotations" comment. I will hope as well. As someone else mentioned, with Aminu back, hopefully it is Vonleh, Aminu and no one else on The GF. Someone is going to have to slow down Middleton as he got off to a hot start last time.

Sure would be fucking nice if Mo "The Invisible Man" Harkless finally decides to show up and start earning that $10 million paycheck tonight.

Aminu certainly helps, but with a 20 minute restriction on his PT (and half of it on Giannis) we are going to need somebody else with some length to spend time guarding Middleton.

I love the way Pat has been playing, and he deserves to start, but with Middleton at 6'8" and Snell at 6'7", we are severely undersized against their starters at the 2 and 3 spots. With a healthy Chief and a motivated Mo, we'd be fine, but with limited minutes for Chief, we really need Mo to step up tonight.

I expect to see a lot of Turner on Middleton tonight. Last time around he was guarding Giannis most of the game and I didn’t like that matchup, despite Turner being our most consistent defender. I actually like Vonleh on Giannis. Even more than Aminu. Giannis is more explosive than both of them, but Vonleh has the strength to force Giannis into taking jump shots. Look what he did against Porzingis, made almost every shot he took difficult.

Harkless shouldn’t even be in the rotation with Aminu back. I think we’ll see the three guard lineup with Napier tonight. Bucks go small in their second unit with Teletovic injured. The three guards with Aminu and Davis in support sounds pretty good.

Should be a great game...we match up well against this roster I think anyway...especially with Chief and Noah back...go good guys!!!!
