I missed the game. Why did Noah only play 24 mjnutes?
Because Aminu is back. Everybody wanted Aminu back, and this is what happens - Noah and Pat get their minutes cut. It's a shame because Noah is our best defender, and seemingly Pat is our best jack-of-all-trades.

Yeah, that was fucked up.
Oh ya, The HCP is SOOOOO bad for this place I forgot. Such a negative influence. Sheeeeit, I read posts in this game thread alone more annoying than anything I post on the daily. Oh well. #RipCityFoLifeFAMS

Easy with that “everybody” talk FAMS!

Man, Bledsoe has always played well against us no matter what team he’s on. He brings some firepower to that squad, no joke. I don’t understand their record. And they don’t even have Jabari Parker!!

Rod Strickland and Andre Miller never got that props they deserved. Not just for their play with us, but in their careers as well. I’ll even add Nick VanExel to that list. All 3 were just amazing out on the court for years.......

They are a tough team.. when Jabari comeback they will be a threat for real. Next one we need to take. Go Blazers

A joke:
Rod Strickland, Nick Van Exel, and Andre Miller walk into a bar... Nick and Andre eventually walk out.

Remember the okc game when i said the bucks are the Most difficult matchup for the Blazers with their size and length? And now with Bledsoe who allways kills the Blazers it's more difficult to beat them

Yeah I'm not expecting to ever beat Milwaukee now. Philly's the same way, just too long.

Did I say someone said that in my post? LOL. Ironically it is you putting words in peoples posts

You called posters whiney bitches if they brought up the refs.
Straight up said anyone who spoke about the refs were making an excuse as to why Portland lost.

Do I really need to draw you a picture?
No I prolly do. Sorry don't have the time to draw one you can see.

This will be the big test on wether I end up loving or hating these jerseys.
The color turns me off. It's not as vibrant as the original. The diagonal sash strip is dull. Lastly, the letters and number look like cheap felt. IMO

Read it again. Never called anyone anything.

I actually don't remember ANY post you've made. Others will only remember THIS one, because The HCP replied. Now go make yourself useful and get me an Iced Tea rook.

Not too long ago there was a Zach Lowe podcast with some guest, i forget who it was, but they were talking about the Bucks defense compared to other teams like the Lebron Heat team and the Blazers.
Basically, it's 2 different approaches: Stotts is playing the analytics numbers games, he's giving up midrange shots, low % shots, players don't fight through screens etc.
Kidd is not willing to give anything up. His players are instructed to fight screens when they need to and giving up a wide open midrange shot is just as bad as giving up a three point shot or a short range shot.

It sucks that we lost, but it's an interesting basketball experiment. Vogel's Pacers fell apart and it was partially because they a had defensive approach which was similar to Stotts'.

I wouldn’t even blame him honestly. We tried getting rid of/replacing him all summer. It’s easy to tell him to be professional as an outsider but if it happened to you, you’d probably be over it as well.

It’s time for Olshey to do his job.

Seems to me Mo wanted to get traded and didn't, and that is the source of his demotivation (aka: pouting like a petulant toddler who didn't get his way). I don't think he had a problem with Neil shopping him. He's from NY and posted photos of himself in NYC over the summer during all the Melo trade rumors. I think he's moping because Neil didn't make it happen, not because he tried.

Milwaukee is just a bad matchup for us. Stotts would have gotten criticism if he had pulled Pat from starting after the three wins but length may have helped with Middleton being able to shoot over three players in our starting lineup. We actually did a decent job on the Freak. Everyone else killed us.

Why did he want to get traded? Just because he’s from NY? He was a starter on a playoff team and seemingly got along with everyone of his teammates.

Of course there’s also the possibility that none of this is attitude related and he’s just not playing well. Look how he played that first game. That didn’t look like a guy that wanted to be elsewhere.

If a guy (Mo) doesn’t want to be here and wants to be traded, a bad move would be to not try and give no effort. Mo: help me, help you, do something that increases your value because prancing around the court doing nothing isn’t going to get you out of here.

wtf? nowhere did I say this and defending bench 2's is not like defending starting 2's but I've said all along....it's where I think he is best...scoring in bunches...my take....nowhere do I say to reduce his minutes...my idea is to not dig a first half hole against good teams. I'm pretty much alone in this line of thinking...I've felt that way since we signed him. I'd like to see Noah get more of his touches early in games...the ball sticks with CJ too much in my view ..CJ is a great player...ask Kevin McHale how important a 6 man is to a championship team...don't care to argue about it...it's just my opinion...I also think this gets Dame going earlier in games
Okay, so you're suggesting gassing him by playing him 18 minutes straight to end each half?

After the boos I'd like to see Stotts give him the start next game...let him play 12 minutes or so..just to say...we're a team.

@riverman

CJ gets 36min.

Less than a 3minutes break isn't enough.

Bringing him in before the 6minute mark of the 1st and 3rd quarters defeats the purpose of bringing him off the bench.

Bringing him in at the 6min mark means he'd have to play the rest of the half to get his 18minutes a half.

So where does he get his 36 minutes off the bench while getting rest at the right time?
