TERRY STOTTS --- DAVID FIZDALE

:reading:GRIZZLIES' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES
:reading:BLAZERS' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES

• Thursday marks the second of three regular season matchups between the Trail Blazers and Grizzlies in 2016-17.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers defeated the Grizzlies, 100-94, at the FedEx Forum on Nov. 6. In that game, CJ McCollum matched his career-high with 37 points on 13-of-23 shooting (6-12 3-PT). McCollum’s six three-pointers also matched a career-high.

• With a win, Portland would secure its first season series victory over Memphis since taking two of three games from the Grizzlies during the 2011-12 season (six seasons).

• The Trail Blazers have won two straight games in Memphis. The last time Portland won at least three consecutive games at Memphis was from Dec. 13, 2006 to Nov. 16, 2010, when the team won eight straight games.

• Prior to Portland’s two straight wins in Memphis, the Trail Blazers had lost five consecutive games at the FedEx Forum.

• CJ McCollum has averaged 24.0 points over his past five games against the Grizzlies. McCollum has scored 20+ points in four of those five contests.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 45-34
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 23-16
AT THE GRIZZLIES: Trail Blazers lead, 22-18

If Harrison gets 25,11, and 8 or some shit...

Wow - I know two of their starters, and four total players. We're gonna lose to these scrubs?

So Memphis loses Conley to injury and they win 4 in a row. Not very good competition, but as @blue9 pointed out, they are a team of scrubs right now. Still will be a tough game.

Wow, you don't know who Jamychal Green or Andrew Harrison are, and you post regularly on a basketball forum?

And if you don't remember that pest Troy Daniels scoring nearly at will and smack-talking with Mo Williams during the Blazers' playoff series against the Rockets a few years ago, you might be...
Senile

Ha! I don't have nearly enough time to know all the players on all the teams. I certainly do recognize the names, but if I were given a list of names and pictures to match them with I'd fail HARD on this MEM roster.

I do recall that Daniels/Mo incident, but never would have matched the incident to the name/player!

These guys, to me, are like Layman and Quarterman are to non-Blazers fans.

For most of them, I agree. Green has been one of Memphis' better players for the past couple years though, so I'm surprised you wouldn't know him. I was half-kidding about Harrison; him I only know because of his (mostly disappointing) time at Kentucky with his twin brother.

Troy Daniels is averaging 22 PPG on 50/50 shooting splits in his last 5 games FWIW

Oh man, didn't realize, but you're right. And Memphis has won 4 straight now in that stretch.

I have a bad feeling about him lighting us up. He's going to get free off of screens and toss up 15 3's tonight.

We got to win this one...come on boys!

Lets play the always-seems-to-be-true game of "Which scrub will light us up"... Here's your host, Scrub Mctoastourass!

Jake the Make gets his first start tonight with Harkless out?

DAMMIT ALL OF YOU!!!!
SHITTING ON MY BOY!!!!!

Didnt you all notice he shaved that shit on the sides recently? He listened to all of your complaints and you guys STILL give him worst hair?
How does Crabbes moldy cauliflower top not get a unanimous?
Damn you all!!!!
:hater::hater::hater::hater:

Almost game time bitches!!! Sittin around the fire with a cup of spiked java mocha with the Blazers on the big screen snuggling up to the woman. Yeah. Gonna be a good game tonight one way or another!~!!! ;)

I'm still commuting home from work. If I don't make the next game thread, that probably means I didn't make it home and died tragically in this snow storm. ;)

Seriously. Drive safe. I left work early cause I live on the east side.

Casey Holdahl ‏@CHold
Well, looks like that was what Stotts stopped to talk to Leonard about in the locker room. Both he and Evan Turner will start tonight.

For a guy who was in the dunk contest a while back, plumlee always looks scared driving to the hoop. His short arms for his size don't help

You didn't hear?

I have a new style now. I'm going to be more homerish

HAHA THATll be the day!!!!
But then we will need you to change your name to faketunchi.
LOL.
I just know that now that your here, talking about the game will soon commence and im recording ot to watch it in about an hour. I skip this thread to avoid the spoilers like Gasol crushing it

Meyers seems to be playing defense like Sabonis would, if he played currently.
