agreed, I really wasn't excusing crappy play, only pointing out that team's records can change through out the season and like the game being a game of runs, so can the season.
Do It think they make the WC or NBA finals heck no. I still predict they finish in the middle of the pack.

Which is what I'm more than tired of.....NBA Purgatory/Middle of the Pack. (Being swept in the Playoffs is getting old as well.)

If PHO is starting Mikal Bridges at the 2, we need some size in our starting backcourt. Which, in theory means Stauskas over Curry, but Terry doesn't like to fuck with the rest of the rotation when a player is out. So, I vote for a surprise start from Gary Trent Jr. He's the 3rd stringer that matches up best against Bridges. Start him, even it it's only a Vonleh start, and keep the second unit in tact (why, I'm not sure, but that's the way Terry likes to do things).

If the Blazers lose this game, this Team is dead and season is over. There are no excuses to lose against Phoenix, Because their team is already dead.

We should win, we better win, we need this win, but I wouldn't call PHO dead, just bad. Keep in mind they have wins over DAL (by 21), MEM, SAS (by 20) and MIL. So, they have shown they are capable of beating some pretty good teams on "any given night". Let's hope tonight is not one of those nights.

well, Devin Booker is out and TJ Warren is doubtful. If Portland loses to that team, at the Moda, they have really sprung a lot of leaks. Of course, the Blazers have lost 8 of 11 and the average margin of loss in those 8 games was -15 points. So maybe they are already leaking enough to find a way to lose

I'm surprised more people want to get rid of Meyers than Moe. Moe is back to being No Show Moe, even when he plays. In fact, he has so little impact on the game you can't really tell when he's playing and when he isn't. He has been absolute dog shit. He's shooting .370 FG% and .286 3FG% with a PER = 7.5. That's horrible. He's averaging 3.6 ppg in 17.3 mpg (Meyers is averaging 6.1 ppg in 12.8 mpg). Congrats Moe, you are now both worse than Meyers Leonard AND more overpaid.

I wanted Moe gone last year, with the disappearing act he pulled for the first 4 months of the season - and he's been even worse this year.



It took Meyers until his 7th season to become a consistent contributor. Moe is also in his 7th season and still isn't there. His inconsistency reminds me of Batum, only with 1/10th the talent.

In regards to tonight's game, if we lose, then that shows the Blazers have quite on Stotts. And if Olshey was smart, he'd fire Stotts immediately after the game.

I have absolutely no expectations for a win tonight. Same ol' shit: get into a hole and have to fight to crawl out of it, while our PG gets double-teamed on the high screens. And Phoenix will go on a 15-3 run without Terry calling a timeout.

I'd be fine with trading Meyers, but we need to get a big back in return - one that can play PF so Zach can move to back up center.

Moe can just go. He can't be counted on for anything - ever. He has proven that over and over and over. I'd dump him for cap relief, for a top 55 protected 2nd round pick. Which if I remember correctly was what he cost us originally. Problem is, with almost 2 years left on his contract at ~$11 million/year, I doubt anyone would even give us that for him. We'd have to take back someone else's shit contract to dump his.
