Well the last game made me stop watching in the 1st. Went to the gym, played 3 Rec League games. Dropped 43 in the last one. Hit 8 to 10 threes or so, including going 6 for 7 on pull up 3s from NBA range. So that made me feel good about something basketball related for the first time in a while.

Made be feel quite better about my day.

What's crazy is their two best players tomorrow might be rookies.

Also, I still wish we had Bridges.
Yeah Mikal is solid.

Don't think he has the tools to be lock down type on the wing and his ceiling isn't the highest on offense, but a smart 2-way wing for sure.

I think he'll be an Otto Porter type.

This a type of game might get you feeling good about yourself or get your head coach fire.

RE the poll:

I'm done with Turner and Aminu. Turner is obvious. As for Aminu, the things he does 'well' we can get from just about every other player of similar stature in the NBA, and more. And don't talk to me about his rebounding. My anecdotal observation is that he takes a lot of his rebounds from teammates. There's nothing wrong with that, at least he's going for them, but IMO it inflates his perceived worth as a rebounder. Also, last night I noticed three times Aminu missed a wide open three point shooter, and made a bad decision passing to the wrong player or keeping the ball. The guy just plays dumb. I want both of them replaced by players with fewer negatives. This year.

Just my two pesos.

The eyeball test tells me Aminu averages less than 2 CONTESTED rebounds per game. Those uncontested rebounds could literally be taken by any other Blazer since nobody leaks out on the break...and even if we did, I certainly wouldn't want Aminu throwing the outlet pass.

I will say that back in 2012, it was a blowout loss to the Knicks that got us Lillard. We fired Nate and traded Crash (for Lillard pick) the next day.
That was a despicable tank job by our so called veterans. Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace both sickened me that night.

Poll: Stotts, Turner, Aminu, Olshey. In that order. With the first two basically tied. With a nice little shit knot.

This will be a very interesting game to watch. Two long guards who can shoot/score over ours? If we lose this game due to guard scoring then . . .
