You need someone ready to step in when Zion drives. Of course, who wants to take charges on him, and, even if we do, will they get called.

The thing is Zion has to guard someone, too. We need those guys to make plays. We have to score at least 120 to think we have a real shot at winning this. Against the Pels, that's achievable. It's just on given nights they can score 130-140.

What I'm saying is I'm not optimistic about winning tonight, which means we'll win tonight.

If we start making shots we normally make, we're going to win this game. We're getting very good looks every time down. Just haven't been draining them yet.

If we start making them, we can set our defense and the Pelicans might feel the pressure to try to match us, which I don't think they can do behind the arc.

I might not be that FDIC guy who everyone has on ignore, but .........

dame is unquestionably the best P&R player in the game right now. had the stats to back it up last year over CP, et al, but the eye test confirms it even more this year. the way he reads defenses, especially down the stretch, i haven't seen that level of focus by him ever in his career.

yeah, I think so. If he was a little better at lobs and the Blazers had another lop-target or two, Dame would be historically good at PnR....which is probably still the hardest play to defend
