The 2017 season is over. The regular season runs from March to October, finals (playoffs) are in September.

The Richmond Tigers (booo) beat the Adelaide Crows in the Grand Final (Super Bowl) to win the Premiership (Championship).

Hawthorn has fallen off a cliff after their run of Premierships, players got old, you can't beat time. They are currently rebuilding.

Port Adelaide has topped up with players from other clubs, but I think they're not as close to a Premiership as they think, and their top up players are average (less in some cases). I think they've made a big mistake.

It's cricket season in Australia, currently The Ashes (the oldest cricket competition in the word) is being contested between Australia and England.
