Rangers haven't had a 3-0 lead in a series since Atlanta in 2007, it would be nice to get one now and keep pace with the Canes and Panthers. While 3-0 would be nice, to me just be sure you at worst get a split in DC and finish this in 5 tops. Hopefully stay healthy and win in no more than 5 games. Then onto the big series against the Canes.

I am very intrigued to see how the game plays out tonight. Will the Rangers have that go for the knockout instinct up 2-0 or will they have even a little letdown which allows the Caps to get a game at home, and in theory get back into the series - even if they lose, I think the Rangers are still in control and they'll win game 4 and go up 3-1 IMO.

I am not sure what to expect. I lean towards the Rangers will take care of business as they are the better team, and a good road team, but we'll see.

It would be nice to get up by several goals early and then just play a smart game the rest of the way, not needing to take risks.
