Yes. It is bad. Lafreniere still being fucked over for retard Mika. I hate to break it to dumbass Drury but if you think Lafreniere is going to ask for less than 9 million you are kidding yourself. If I was his agent I would be like if you put Laffy on the PP he would have over a hundred points and that is what you're going to pay for. Just because you're stupid doesn't mean you will get a discount.

Yes, its a mistake to not feature Lafreniere more on the power play. Don't conflate the two.
You can definitely see the negotiations coming a mile away....Laf is going to have a high asking price, Drury won't want to/be able to pay it but there will be teams lining up to sign him. When is his contract up?

It's up after this year. The Rangers will give him $8m and Shest his $12m but they will be tight to the cap with having to pay Schneider and Miller too, even with it going up to 92m. What happens with Miller will be interesting, as he really hasn't taken the next step.
