Chuck I've seen bad officiating before, in my opinion this was much worse.
 
how don't these asshole refs give simmonds a misconduct already and get him off the ice. They have the common sense of a tree stump
 
Joe I have no idea what game you were watching to compliment these officials.
 
We did what we needed to do. Got back home 2-2. Great stuff tonight. Outside of dumb Pouliot penalties we controlled this game start to finish. 3rd goal was the key, and I said it at the time. What we didn't get Sunday.

Joe just said the refs did a good job tonight...

The bottom line is the Rangers are the better team and have proven they can only beat themselves in this series. You have a team down 2-1, changing goalies and their stars aren't doing a thing. It's time to finish them in the next two.

He also works for the NHL. If I were working for them, I'd keep my negative comments to myself as well
 
I'm hoping for 3-1 also, but if we learned anything it is we always do it the hard way.

Now I agree with Mess, I think we have shown we are clearly the better team no doubt, but we do what we do.

I standby 1-1, 2-2, we win in 7.
 
Guys that was a great road win. Kudos to AV. Some breakdowns but solid game. Hank played well too
 
League to look at carcillo shoulder or elbow to head. That hit deserves a game. lets see if flyer goon gets it.

I don't know Al, Chuck is still calling for 2-2. We need to get him on board for 3-1 lead friday night. LOL
 
Hopefully they dont follow the pattern of the last few years where they go up 2-1 then down 3-2 then win in 7. Would be nice to not have that stress for once
 
I would love to get on board for 3-1, but I have seen how this team does business too much the past few seasons. We never had a 2 game lead in a series. If that were going to change game 2 would have been the perfect spot, but no. I simply think it is how this team operates.

I would love 3-1 and then 4-1 so we can be ready for round 2 and not all worn down like two years ago, but it is not in our DNA. Hope I am wrong.
 
This isn't your tort rangers. This team attacks. Friday will be the game you looked back on and say was the moment. ..Giroux guarantees a win..giroux is more Patrick Ewing then Mark messier!

Thought we said that going into game 2 Al...how did that work out? Until I see them do something the easy way and actually take a 2 game series lead, I won't expect it. I will root for it big time, but cannot expect it when every time they are given the chance to do it they fall short.

I saw Giroux's comments. Let's make him eat those words.

"We'll be ready for Game 4," Giroux told reporters following Tuesday night's loss. "We're going to tie up the series and go back to New York."

That's all it should take, really.

We should have won Gm 2, but that's water under the bridge. Win Gm 4 and they're dead in the water and we're in full control with a 2gm lead and they needing to win 3 in a row to make it out of the series.
 
No doubt we have been the clearly better team thus far. And to me we are the better team overall. I just want to see the Rangers once take the easier road before I can flat out feel confident we will do it.
 
I honestly feel that this team is better than the Flyers and as long as they keep their head they shouldn't have a problem with them. For Christ sakes they have two islanders on defense. Macdonald and Streit are nothing to write home about!

Game 2 the Rangers learned that they have to give it their all and not just show up, I think that lesson will help take the next two games!

And for each point Marty gets, I can gloat it in my dad's face who said right after the trade and throughout the end of the season, this guy is old and sucks lol.

for all the hate Sather got, he quietly made this team a little better with the moves. Klein hasn't embarrassed himself, Carcillo has brought some toughness and an additional agitator that can deflect some of the shit away from a Nash and a St Louis.

The St Louis trade is looking real good right now. Hope Cally enjoyed his last time in the playoffs, if he ends up in Buffalo he wont sniff the playoffs for the next three years.
