Exactly. They refuse to get to the dirty areas and really give Holtby no chance to see the puck. We're getting KILLED in the faceoff circle tonight.
 
We need a goal, so it makes total sense that Glass is out there. What the hell AV?
 
Lack of scoring is very frustrating. I do think they are playing well. Caps not getting a lot of chances. We have had more chances in this game no doubt. One fluke goal and we cannot score.
 
It's ridiculous that they have no offense... The Blackhawks and Ducks would steamroll this team in a series

I hate how other teams get these lucky goals and we never seem to. Has something to do with the fact that they'll go to the dirty areas and look to get them whereas, if we can't get a pretty goal we pass it back to the pointman who does nothing with it.

Neither of those teams would "steamroll" us. Washington is a great team that plays a physical game. Hawks and Ducks are similar to us in that they play a more open style. We have struggled all year with physical teams.
 
That was the chance, and instead of hitting the wide open net, we shot it into the pile of bodies. Unreal.
 
I really thought things would be different offensively this year in the playoffs. Wishful thinking again just leads to frustration.
 
Not even close...this game is WAY more frustrating to me than game 1.
 
Like I said. That opportunity was our chance to tie it up. We just used probably all of our energy there, and get nothing out of it. Will be interesting if we have a last push left because we are awful with an empty net and the extra skater.
 
The Rangers have outhit the caps in every game. I don't want to hear about that physical stuff. The Rangers are just as physical
 
great game to watch. would be even greater if we had 2 goals
 
The Rangers have outplayed the Caps as well, but cannot finish so it means zero.

Need to net one here or game 4 becomes a must win. Keep pressuring and I still think we can get 1.
 
Well will obviously be a must win game four. Will not even care about post games or anything this team has to say after this game. It's always the same rhetoric. I'm sorry folks your best guys can't keep putting up zeros.
 
Al he's been too slow with the puck as the rest of the team. They need to get the puck and shoot it. Hayes is dangling around, Klien is winding up, Nash is throwing meaningless garbage towards the net
 
He's been our best player strud...guess you are watching a different game.
