I’d love to see it, I’m just not sure “Twin Towers” can work in today’s NBA.
Not all the time, but in certain situations it can work. Like, I think it could be extremely effective against Houston.

Dame and CJ had stinkers Whiteside has become Darkside. Unstoppable monster he won us this game

Why do you think it would be extremely effective against Houston?

Skal improved, Baze hitting his shots, Hassan a Beast, we got a good Melo. Imagine if this team is healthy

Houston can get extremely sloppy with shooting and we would wreck them on the glass, while turning Russ best asset against him.

I haven't watched Houston outside of our game against them. I know that they like either shots at the rim, or threes. Do they generate those threes with drive and kicks, as opposed to good ball movement? Because Twin Towers zone would stop the shots at the rim, and if they didn't move the ball well after the kick, they would be taking contested threes.

* Houston is 2nd in the NBA in offensive rebound rate; Portland is 19th

* Houston is 16th in the NBA in defensive rebound rate; Portland is 27th

* Houston is 4th in the NBA in TS%; Portland is 15th

* Houston is 6th in the NBA in eFG%; Portland is 19th

*Houston is 14th in the NBA in 2ptFG%; Portland is 26th

* Houston is 13th in the NBA in 3ptFG%; Portland is 19th

* Houston has a winning record while Portland has a 1-10 record against teams with winning records

That's basically a clean sweep in the areas you highlighted. I'm not seeing any reason to believe the Blazers would dominate the glass or be less sloppy shooting the ball

Nah more than a Box score CJ played a very good game. Dame missed a few free throws but when he was on the court there was no question who the better team was.

Dame barely broke a sweat out there; he definitely could have moved up a couple of gears if required.

Can you believe we are only -0.6 after tonight’s game? Feels like there’s been a couple ugly losses a few blowout wins.

Sorry to interject with Australian basketball (yet again), but I wonder if some of you would like Stotts to react like this after certain losses?

our attitude as a group was extremely unprofessional. It was a complete example of what being selfish is all about.

We thought this would be an easy one and we acted like it all week. And it caught up with us.

Our approach was unprofessional and we got an unprofessional result.

Our egos got ahead of ourselves, bottom line.

We thought about ourselves and what we were going to get out of it because we thought we had the win.

I got 12 guys ... all of them were pretty crappy.

If you can't sleep after the Trail Blazer's game, tune in, and see the result of this coach's reaction to a loss (to the bottom placed team), as the Adelaide 36ers take on the Cairns Taipans.

Well i was there and sitting 5 rows from the court. Dame definitely broke a sweat on his way to leading the team in both Points and Assists. While playing the most minutes. Completely controlled the game while he was on the court.

* I have said Hassan is lazy
* I have said his stats don’t necessarily reflect his impact on the team
* I have said Nurkic is better.

I don’t backtrack on these. Maybe I will eventually. I have never said he’s a bad player. He’s good. I don’t think he always plays hard.

He was great, I just mean he could have lifted his game if it was needed; but it wasn't.

I'm envious about the seats.
