I think we may be one of the worst teams in the west.... our defense is so bad, having 2 upper echelon guards can't even compensate for it.

I disagree. Pop's players love him. He's firm but fair. Stotts can be firmer with the players, and still have them like him. In fact they may like him even more.

My only hope is the Blazers take some serious time breaking down this film and really looking at what the Spurs do on defense and make a sincere effort to emulate it. They can roll any group of scrubs out there and still give us problems.

This is a decent offensive team. Especially when you consider their efficiency, and how imbalanced they are (guard heavy, with zero inside presence).

I'm not a fan of all the window dressing BS that happens 30 feet from the hoop and wastes 15 seconds of the shot clock and generally does nothing for our offense.

The amount of errors on defense is Honestly comical. It's like everyone's brain is moving a few seconds slower than the other team. By the time they recognize what they should be doing the guy has already blown by them.

I don't think anyone is discounting them. We're actually pointing out many of the things they are doing well.
