wtf was brooks thinking putting dame back in to start the fourth having played him 30+ mins thru three quarters when we were down 20?

First thing I noticed in that game....Brooks didn't impress me at all and especially during the post game interview...he acted like we played well. Took a reporter to point out that Nas was the only guy who played well....Chauncey is so much better to listen to after a game

people are delusional believing Portland is going to get some historic haul for trading a 31 year old 6'2 guard with a potentially chronic injury having his worst season as a pro while being on a super-max contract. It ain't gonna happen

Lmao you think he wouldn’t get a haul even with down year? I never said it had to be for Simmons either. Guarantee there are several teams who would give up good young player and couple of draft picks to get Dame.

Why do you put stock into what coaches (or players) say to media? The player/coach & media interactions are mostly a bunch of meaningless lip service.

the media is the stage but the message a coach or player puts out is to their fans like you and me....I don't know how much "stock" anybody puts into it but it's the contact someone hundreds of miles from Moda has with the people calling the shots. To me it's not all meaningless but sure....at times it can be ...Brooks was uninspiring to my ears whether it was lip service or just how the guy is wired

Listen I don’t care one way or another but in my opinion if Lillard became available there’d be lots of teams interested.

Any deal would likely include a 3rd team for draft picks or swaps

Lillard has had shit year by his standards but I’m guessing it really hasn’t hurt his value at least not yet. You can still get a nice haul and help set this team up for the future
