Again, it's fine. He can feel like that.

Also, the reason I'm saying this is, my interest in the team right now is really low, too. I'm still listening to the game, albeit absentmindedly, since it's like "meh". if we win, that's great... but I can also see where not wanting to listen or care to watch can happen too. I don't see him as any less of a "fan" because he decided to not watch a game in January... or care. He's been a fan for decades - this team, this year, is leaving a lot of people with apathy - so I dont blame him... or them.
