We got a bunch of stops but missed like 6 shots in a row. That was our chance.
Nail on the head. Watching that period of time, you knew it was a blown op to take control of the game. I remember Dame being hot, and then getting his teammates great looks, and , other than Nurk, they couldn't finish if their life depended on it.

Yeah I saw that on the last one at least. I saw him try a couple other times and then bitch when he didn't get it, so the refs finally gave in. Dame was running next to him and Curry's legs kicked out to the side and his foot caught Dame's leg and he got the call.

I was hoping Dame would come back and Jean Claude Van Damme Curry's ass Bloodsport style and see how he liked it.

That team has a number of shooters. Durant, Curry, Klay, Jerebko, Cook, Livingston even Loony was 5-6 tonight. Seems like they just make the open look at a better rate.

The Blazer starters other than Lillard and Nurk were 12-33. The bench was 5-21. Think about that for a second.
Lillard and Nurk combined for 22-37 shooting over 59%
Turner 1-5 with 3 turnovers and 2 points.
Not Steph was 1-5 for 3 points
Blazers shot 29% from 3. How many games will the percentage be in the 20's this year?
Collins played less than 6 mins. 0-3 and zero points.

Not really sure how you watch that game and come away with the Blazers getting 3 technical's and the Warriors only one?

I don't understand what Zach did wrong in his game that was really his fault. Had to try to bail out the team twice shot clock desperation situations. He's getting stunted.

Lately, our only consistently good players have been Dame, Nurk, and Moe. Curry and Aminu have been inconsistent but have shown flashes.

Everyone else has been consistently bad.
I do see Moe getting better. Really makes me wonder how badly he was hurt. This injury took a bunch of time to recover from. Not just that but he played one game in the playoffs. Makes you wonder if that was a really bad move?

You know how HCP likes to read game threads after work and then calls out each freakout? I want to leave him a gift as he reviews the comments in this thread:

Man, Felton is not aging well!

McKinnie and Jerebko abused him a bit. Zach looked slow. Maybe just a bad matchup?

But i agree. Zach has literally no one to play with. It's like he is on an island against good teams. Could you imagine playing with Turner?

Zach has regressed. Not all his fault, but even when he's with Dame he's allowing himself to get in bad position. There was one possession where Meyers and him were directly UNDER the hoop. That's terrible rebounding position. He's not in control on either end right now. Maybe he's thinking too much.

Rookie wall was bound to happen for a big kid like him who got thrown into the fire almost right away...the game is still probably too fast for him...he'll get there.

That being said, it's up to Zach to change the way he's performing. The hand holding period is coming to an end. Buck Up! youngster.

Fantastic. Another Player with mental Problems :D

The potential is there in Zach. But only he can turn that into becoming a player.

Zach was playing very good ball at the beginning of this season. Not sure regressed is the right word but he is struggling to get time and make the most of it lately.

With someone as young as Zach it could very well be issues off the court...life can be dramatic at his age...could be he got dumped by someone he loved..who knows

This game is just another reason supporting my idea to trade CJ and Zach for a second star next to Dame. CJ and Zach are both underutilized and would be much better in another offense/defense (don't get me wrong I know CJ is no defensive stand out but Zach is good on both sides of the floor).

Zach is really good but we can use his trade value more than his actual value. Especially if coupled with CJ.

Zach has much more value as a developmental piece than as a trade piece. People think he has a ton of trade value, but I doubt he has any more than Frank Ntilikina, Bam Adebeyo, OG Anunoby, or others from his class.

CJ is underutilized? That makes no sense. He's shooting 19.0 FGs per 36, compared to 19.9 for Dame. How many shots should he be taking...? He gets the ultimate freedom to do whatever he wants.

Zach needs to be used differently. Doesnt mean we should trade him.

CJ is not at his best next to Dame. That's all I was saying in regards to McCollum. He could be better used in a different offense. We need spot up shooters that spread the court not iso scorers like CJ.
