I don't know if you can call that last win "earned," but both of these jerseys the teams are wearing for this game have been designated as the "Earned" jersey for making the playoffs last year.

This game will be very entertaining, if last game is any indication. The previous game between these two teams was crazy, sloppy, stressful, but oh so fun (probably because we won).

The Warriors will not overlook the Blazers tonight after Portland stole the game right under their noses (but that was after the Blazers tried serving the game away on a silver platter to the Warriors).

Because these two teams just played, coaching will be more of a factor this time around. Which team will make better adjustments and game plan after seeing the results of the previous game? Only time will tell.

How do you know which jerseys they will be wearing?

Can the Blazers put the Warriors on a 3-game losing streak?

I imagine this next game will be higher scoring. That may not be a good thing.

We only win again On Defense. If we let our intensity and our effort down, we'd lose. That's the biggest key right now, keep improving on defense

I dig those threads. Will look even better with a win. Go BLAZERS!

I voted for the Nurk after a change vote from Dame. His pass created that miracle.
What are `the odds that we win the second game at the buzzer? I would like that experience to catapult this team towards a winning streak of un imaginable proportions. Beating them twice in a week is like Unreal. CANADA NIAGRA 009.jpg

Replaying the Dec 27 GSW win, the Blazers will need better scoring FG% to win the Dec 29 GSW home game. The Blazers will probably need at least 13 additional points based on the 6 from FT and 6 from FG3s projected from GSW averages. The Blazers will also need to avoid 2nd half turnovers, win the rebounds, make 25+ assists, and get equal or better calls from the refs. Notably, this game can accomplish 2 wins over the GSW Champs in one week. We have seen great plays by Nurk, Dame, Seth, Mo, Chief, and Meyers. Scoring can increase if we eliminate bad passes.

The Blazers need to see a lot of assists from Evan, with no throw away passes, no attempts at swish3s, and for Evan, Dame, CJ, Seth, and Nik to focus on feeding catch and shoot more passes to teammates precisely timed to give open shots from sweet spots. The game at Oakland implies that we can do that. Let's see the game in which Meyers and Seth, the top Blazers swish3 % shooters each taking 6 swish3 shots along with about 6 by Dame. CJ and Nik should attempt 3-4 swish3s each. Chief and Mo should attempt 1-2 swish3s each. Anyone who has made 50%+ should keep shooting for the additional 6-10 shots. The Blazers will need to score 15+ siwsh3s to be likely to win this game, and will probably need 40 swish3 attempts (although <36 is quite possible). If the Blazers plan the game with off ball rotation and multiple passes--especially including kick out passes from driving into the paint--the potent 45+ swish3 points needed to win are within reach.

The Blazers have not achieved a record better than 20 and 15 that I recall. A 2nd win over the Warriors in one week can be the confidence building accomplishment that propels the Blazers to finish this season with the NBA Championship.

This thread should be good.
Had a chance to be in a suite for this game. We decided to pass because of scheduling issues. I’m betting I will regret that decision.

Yeah I would never turn that down

Well it wasn’t really the choice I wanted to make but not everyone we were wanting there could make it.
Gonna get a suite to Houston and New Orleans and see about a playoff game if they get in?

We beat them on the road, we can definitely beat them at home. They're going to bring it, so our guys have to play their best. Our team wasn't playing their best ball for that last win, so there's room for improvement and improvement will be needed. GO BLAZERS!!!

The warriors play 25% better than they did the other night, they rout us.
