We haven’t gotten ourselves this many open looks in a long time.
 
The are moving the ball tonight. No one is going hero ball and they are getting easy shots. Who would have thought it.
 
What is the assist record in a half for this team in the last 5 years? May get close to 20 in this first half.
 
Trae Young going absolutely apeshit. Good to still have the lead after all that.
 
Trae is a fucking flame thrower in this game. Ant's defense is so bad that it makes you want Dame to be in there guarding Trae.
 
Why does it feel like dame always sits out matchup vs Young?
 
Overall the offense as look good very balance scoring not just points but also attempts. Defensely we don't do a good job closing quarters on that end. Part of it we giving to many 2nd and sometimes 3 shots attempts that's hurt your defense.

I don't know why it's even a discussion. Nurk was 100% showing the refs up. Sheed used to get techs for looking at refs wrong. Dame got one the other night for asking "Stop what." really calmly. That's when guys can start feeling singled out but when you do shit that is going to make the crowd laugh at the refs and then have some sour look on your face, you're getting that T.

Oh I agreed that it was a bullshit call but even if showing the refs up is warranted, you still get a tech when you do it.

Edit: In fact your more likely to get it because the ref is embarrassed and they think they're like the bosses out there. Can't stand the way the NBA has empowered the refs and left them without accountability.
 
Only 3 turnovers first half but Atlanta had only 1 turnover...all in all moving the ball without turning over for a change.

Our p&r defense is designed to stop young from doing this very thing he is. If Nurk is gonna show but not slow the pass down low to the roller or deter the pullup, there is no point. Just drop the big and let young shoot 30x
 
Nurk's impersonation of Trae was the highlight of the season. Sadly.

Yeah, Nurk shows very weakly on his doubles. The thing about Nurk is that Chauncey may have broken it down for him a hundred times but he thinks he knows better. I guarantee you every coach he's ever had has told him to set his feet and go up strong instead of flipping up his bullshit shots inside... the dude really doesn't seem at all coachable.
 
Blazers are great at taking away nothing.
 
Damn Trae just passed Dame for games with 30 and 10 in his career, already.
