Hey Neil thanks for that rim protector again!

I always want our guys to attack the basket more and get some free throws. CJ attacks and gets knocked down by 2 defenders and there's no call. SMH. I hate the disrespect our guys get from officials.

Here comes the all offense lineup. How many threes are we going to shoot in the 4th. 20?

Stan Van Gundy gets have fun of but he's no less than a hundred times better at coaching than Stotts.

CJ 3-11. Will that keep him from going 1-0n-3 and getting stripped while teammates all over are wide open?

HELL NO!

Missed that quality team ball CJ. Welcome back.

Looking back at the Anthony Davis trade. Pelicans got Ball, Ingram, Hart, Jaxson Hayes, Alexander -Walker, and still have Lakers 2021 and 2024 first round picks. Just random research because the game is sometimes painful to watch.

All we gotta do is do Dame a favor and trade him

it’s clearly not working

Every fucking time we get any momentum they get a wide open 3

Hey Neil thanks for that rim protector again!

Guy's built a roster that can't be easily fixed.

Seriously, you have one of the superstars of the NBA, a couple of other good players, a great fan base and community. Olshey must have never spent a lot of real time out around the city, because he should be able to sell at least a couple of decent players on playing for the Blazers. He just seems to be an LA guy that doesn't understand what might appeal to free agents about playing in Portland.

I’ve seen this fucking movie before..might wanna guard the 3 point line you fucking moron

Pathetic defense from CJ giving up yet another WIDE OPEN '3'.....off of one simple pass with no movement. My goodness, that is bad.

All the blazers do is give up threes and dunks. I am sure that is a recipe for greatness. Stottsfense

I'll repeat again, these are not my opinions, but the data says there is no correlation between passing & wins or potential assisted attempts & wins. There is a correlation between defensive rating and wins, so I think I would bang that drum way louder than passing.

Do you think this team has a champioship roster if they had an above average coach?
To answer your question, they absolutely do not have a championship roster, which is why I want to see both Stotts and Olshey canned. I don’t care which order, they both need to go. I’ve said for years that this team will never win anything of significance with two undersized guards who don’t play a lick of defense, especially when those two guards have been anointed the leaders of the team. The team goes as they go and if they aren’t held accountable for not playing hard on defense, why would anyone else on the team put out any effort on D. The lack of accountability falls squarely on the coach. The poor roster construction falls on Olshey. Both are well below average at their respective roles imo.

By the way, have a read through the attached article. I think you’ll find it interesting. The general premise is that passing volume may not have a direct impact on wins (I never said it did) but a strong correlation between winning teams (i.e. “good”) and ‘profitable’ passing is present. In essence ‘quality passing per 100’ has a positive correlation with wins. The author defines his metric in the article.

Writing's on the wall for ole Terry. For them to come out and respond to his defensive challenge like this is telling.

Terry isn't being fired. Their defensive effort all year has been suspect at best. The opportunity to can his stupid ass was a long time ago.
