"Nothing I said made a difference." - Stotts when asked what he said to the team during the comeback.

Whoa wa happend. Gotta admit I gave up on this one in the 4th. Watching it now though better late than never maybez.

Would someone please tell me the lineup the got us back in the game.
Stotts moved to a small ball lineup without Kanter for RoCo and a bigger Rodney Hood in for DJJ. He went with Trent over CJ and kept Melo in with Dame.
Rodney missed his open three but he did apply pressure on defense that allowed RoCo and Melo to collapse on Zion. Trent is a better defender than people have been rapping on him. He takes tough covers.
I thought Stotts did make the right calls here but he made them a bit late. This should have been his lineup in the Third quarter. They also could have used little a bit more in the third but it's a tough call when nobody was making any shots other than Lillard.
I also noticed he was extremely animated on the sidelines while they were on defense. Waving his arms and obviously yelling at players to get in positions.

Hood bigger than DJJ?

Thanks for the first half, I didn't recall who was in, it was kind of a blur.

I get what you're saying about Stotts, but he was clear in the post game that he didn't say anything that impacted the outcome of the game, he gave all the credit to the players.

I’m still sitting here amazed at this game.

this team is all Dame. Afaic we can tear down everything and still build around Dame, even at 30, years old. He’s the one constant positive. Everyone else is expendable, from the players, coach, gm , even ownership.

How about Melo with two huge plays down the stretch, one on offense and one on defense with the block on Bledsoe? Exciting finish, though we had no business winning that game. Took a nice choke job from the Pelicans for us to get that win.

He should not be out center, but his value given his contract has been great!

Nice of him but he was absolutely screaming at players and refs. Back that game up and watch it. He was all over the sidelines. Probably the most animated i have seen him this year?

I believe you, just pointing out what he said.

I don't know? RoCo has been huge! That dude has made so many late game plays. You got to admit Melo was a plus this game as well.
