Once again we will see no balls Lava put Zibanejad on the PP in the same stupid spot like every season while Lafreniere gets shafted.
 
That sucks. I’ll be watching the yanks, Mets, piles, devils and football instead. F THE GREEDY NHL
 
The way you get around that is have somebody who has an account share the passwords and login information and then you have something else and share with them that they need

Panarin is hotter than he was last year in the regular season.
 
Watching Zibanejad making $8 million a year and doing nothing every single game ay even strength is painful. Worry about that.
 
Whats with all the penalties? I can't watch the game but looks like the Rangers have 3 PP goals already.
 
Al, you have a long history of sucking off the same vet core which can't get the team to a finals. PP will work against the crap Red Wings. It didn't work against the Panthers. Or the Hurricanes. Still amazed by how a lot of our dumbass fan base talks as if this team has won a cup in the last 30 years or has made several finals. They are incompetent. They have made one final with two Hall of Fame goalies. Pathetic.
 
This is their roster. Are we supposed to actively root against them and hope for failure? They’re off to a solid start with points in all the games so far. I’m not saying don’t have complaints but save them for when it’s warranted.
 
They are warranted. They keep doing the same shit over and over again which doesn't work. Go with 5 vets on the PP, who do well on the PP in the regular season and the first round of the playoffs, then the PP starts to suck in the 2nd round and is non existent in the third round as the competition keeps improving. Same shit every year. Relying on a big minute veteran core that can't get past the third round. Big minute vets who disappear in the third round. Last year our best players in the third round were Shesterkin, Lafreniere and role playing Goodrow. To be fair Trochek was ok but his point total was inflated because of some absurd goals by Lafreniere.
 
The Rangers are the only team in hockey I've ever seen get the number 1 overall pick and not try to build around him. Just listen the words. We got the number overall pick in the league and we don't try to build a team around him. Think about how fucking stupid that is. Thus, one cup in over 85 years. I repeat. One cup in over 85 years. There are cases when teams tried to build around the number one overall pick and that player didn't live up to the hype. Lafreniere almost went 30-30 last year with basically no PP time. Yet, the dumbasses running this organization continue to put one trick pony Zibanejad on the PP who has sucked moose cock at even strength for over 2 years and basically sits in one spot on the PP with one type of shot. Thus, one cup in over 85 years.
 
Saying the same shit over and over again...same dribble going back to imminent, Heineken and baranka all lifers that was supposedly gotten screwed over by the organization yet no team traded for them.

These other #1 picks go to teams that had zero talent to begin with..you keep saying to sit vets..ok...you sit kreider during a 50 goal season because we have to breast feed a kid...yeah ok

Or hey sit a guy who was a candidate for mvp in bread...to breast feed a kakko only because he was drafted #2.

You don't sit proven players for maybes.

Reason why the pp went downhill....how about Fox...you should be pointing at him

how is having a top 5 pp in the league a bad thing...oh..because you have to breast feed a kid...gotcha...so lets force feed kids so MAYBE in 2 or three years they become something based off what they did in juniors...and in the time being ...we will tell our vets who have put their time and dues in that hey...sit this one out..yeah i know you are having a franchise record kinda season on teh PP...forget that you are a top 5 MVP candidate..we have this kid who deserves PP time because he cant develop UNLESS he is playing against one less player on the ice.
Yep totally makes sense to me.

Again....the PP could improve in the playoffs if Adam Fox was 100% healthy, which he was not, and for the most part hasnt been in 2 years now. But yeah keep on blaming the same whipping boys over and over.
 
I have to admit I am very puzzled about this conversation in general. Due to one person the discussion seems to be incessantly focused on not playing Lafreniere on PP1 = ruining his career which also = the Rangers have issues as a team due to Lafreniere not being on PP1. I can honestly tell you this is maybe the most pointless conversation I have seen in a very long time.

If you want the reality, here it is:

1. Lafreniere should be on PP1 at this point, BUT the fact that he is not really is not a major issue for the team overall, and is not the cause of, or the solution to the issues the team has.
2. Mika is a huge problem for this team. The guy doesn't play a strong energy type game you need from your # 1 C, he refuses to shoot the puck (especially at even strength), and he has essentially become a PP specialist, that is all. Not only do you need more from your # 1 C, but he is also stealing money for what he has become. I do think Lav should be tougher on him, because without a top-level Mika the Rangers cannot win a Cup (even with him at top-level they are not Cup favorites).
3. The Rangers top issues are softness, D zone coverage/discipline, and play at even strength. None of those issues are solved by Lafreniere playing on PP1. Whether he does or not, and again I think he has earned the opportunity, is not going to solve the main issues this team has. That is why big picture it is really a pointless conversation focused on the wrong thing.

That's the reality of the Rangers, and until those issues are solved the team will not win a Cup.
 
Could be the realization that preseason predictions of a Rangers crash and burn maybe squeak into the playoffs if they're lucky were ridiculous.
 
For years, we were bitching about how we never had any lottery luck then we finally fucking luck out and get the first and the second overall picks in the draft and we they them like role-players. Clueless turds.
 
Sadly, they are our clueless turds and we can’t bail on them.
