Our starting front court had 18 points.

Combined.

There's your game

What's scary is that if Utah was at full strength, and one play doesn't go our way in Denver, we would be 0-4...

Not looking very promising this year. Nobody improved besides lillard. Frankly they all look worse.

Totally agree

Really since the preseason we've looked bad

Really amazing play by Layman in short minutes..Go Blazers! Get the next one!

How pathetic is david west? joins spurs last year then runs to gsw this year. i hope he never gets a ring. no loyalty at all.

I found this picture on the interwebs:

Jake Layman's 17 points are the most by a Trail Blazer in his career debut since Damian Lillard scored 23 points on Oct. 31, 2012.

Jake Layman's five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter are one shy of the franchise record for 3-pointers in a quarter (6-Cliff Robinson).

Jake Layman is the first player in Trail Blazers history to make four 3-pointers in his first career game.

I think a trade is going to have to go down this year we have too many similar skill set players

If Ezeli is ever healthy, I say get rid of Meyers. If he can't break into the rotation at this point, he's never going to with us. He just doesn't have basketball instincts, so you can't trust him. About all he's good for is hitting a few open threes every now and then. Maybe pissing people off with his awkwardness on defense.

Dont usually see this from Terry. There was so much iso play happening he cant have been happy

I'd trade meyers and Aminu with a package of picks right now for just about any competent big man that can play D and have actual consistent range.

I think we drafted a better version of Kevin Love in Jake Layman..

I would trade anyone on this team except Dame and cj...oh and apparently Layman too, if it would make us better.

There's some overreaction going on in here, but what really hurt Portland tonight were the unforced turnovers. It kept them from ever getting in a groove. On to the next.
I think it's more....there was something positive to take from this embarrassing loss

I'm hesitant to want to dump Aminu. Even on nights when his shot is horribly off, he contributes in other ways.

Teams have had success so far against Golden State if they drive to the hoop. They have no shot blocker. But what do we do? Play right into their hands and shoot 39 three-pointers (9 of which were Aminu/Harkless who combined made the same amount I did tonight) and only something around 27-28 shots near the basket. As good as Dame has been getting to the rim, he only had 4 shots inside.
