Klay=Overrated in my book. just on a great team with great teammates and a great coach.

Was just typing about how CJ and Crabbe for Klay is a joke because he's a system player almost as much as Barnes. Klay is better than Barnes, but he's not a star like Curry/Durant imo.

Klay is a better player than CJ, not by leaps and bounds but the difference is made defensively.

The only problem with Klay is he can't run an offense like CJ, we'd be getting superior shooting and defense but we'd be losing a player who can set up an offense. We'd need to either get a true back up PG or pray Napier can play 15-18 minutes a night and not fuck it up.

I was just about to post that as another theoretical benefit. I hate CJ at PG. Napier as backup PG (for only 12 mpg, IMO) with Thompson alongside the rest of the second unit would be a massive improvement over the CJ/Crabbe/Turner lineup we're currently seeing.

OK--based on both yours and Bones' responses, I guess I'm overvaluing Noel's defense and Klay's two-way abilities. Got it.

First off, Noel is injury prone with no offensive game. He's a role player. So is Crabbe. Golden State isn't gonna trade Klay for two role players.

Portland also isn't going to trade a borderline all-star who's only 25 and a good 6th man who's only 24 for that asshole. Klay is overrated, and wouldn't do as well offensively here.

I see plenty of reason that we shouldn't win this game. There's nowhere to hide Dame defensively. Previously, we could have Dame guard Barnes or Iguodala. With this iteration of the Warriors, we have no choice but to have Dame attempt to guard someone who can/will torch him. Unless his defensive effort is stepped up massively over the span of the entire game, there's a very good chance that we won't be able to keep up with them.

They can't keep up with him either.

This game should be a similar result to when we play them in Game 4 of the WCF this year. The only difference being that when we win in the playoffs, we will be sending their asses back to Oakland, ending their season!

I don't know if I can watch this game.
The narrative the NBA has pushed is the Warriors are must-see-tv.
Frankly to me Clippers/Rockets/Warriors are a cancer to the game of basketball.
If it starts looking like the Refs are going to have a huge impact on the game due to "flailing"....
Or
If the announcers start riding the Warriors dick like they did in the preseason, my TV will be turned off real quick.
