Problem with your example is you are assuming all players have the same trajectory..

I'm not assuming anything...somebody pointed at Simons not playing college ball in order to explain the inconsistency that Simons shows. I just compared him to another Blazer who didn't play college ball, and that was 1st year Webster vs 2nd year Simons. Obviously, Simons is a different player than Webster with better handles. But Webster was younger and less experienced than Simons and performed better, to this point at least, so the no-college-ball excuse seems a little hollow
